As the swirls faded, Kennilworthy and Penelope noticed they appeared in the middle of Diagon Alley.
"This isn't London, this is Diagon Alley." Kennilworthy said looking around. "Its a mad house."
Wizards and witches were running around screaming, all of Diagon Alley was chaos.
"Maybe this is why." Penelope said frightened looking at a Daily Prophet.
You Know Who's Rise to Power: Battle at Hogwarts
"He's attacking Hogwarts." Penelope said. "You know who has risen again, that's impossible."
"The wizard who was worse than Grindelwald has risen to power again?" Kennilworthy told himself. "Oh my god this must be the second wizarding war."
Penelope looked at him terrified.
"We should go, before we see something we shouldn't." Penelope called to him.
Kennilworthy was running towards a quidditch shop that looked run down by the chaos.
"I have to see Hogwarts." Kennilworthy said taking a broom. "This may be the last time Hogwarts will be standing."
Penelope looked at him tears filled in her eyes.
She walked up to him and sat behind him on the broom
"Be careful, death eaters are everywhere." Penelope told him.
Kennilworthy flew the broom to Hogwarts where the two saw a view of the Battle of Hogwarts.
"The students, they are still there." Kennilworthy said. "Who was stupid enough not to let the students evacuate."
Kennilworthy looked down with fear to see students running with fear and screaming from death eaters.
"Fly down." Penelope said looking at a little girl about to be attacked.
Kennilworthy looked at her and flew down.
"Please, help her." Penelope said tearing up. "She is going to be killed."
"I can't change the past Penelope." Kennilworthy said. "It could change the time line."
"One students, please." Penelope begged. "She is only young, couldn't even see the world."
Kennilworthy looked at her and pointed his wand at the death eater.
"Avada Kedavra." Kennilworthy whispered with fear and regret.
As the death eater dropped dead, Kennilworthy's eyes were filled with regret and grief.
Penelope ran to the girl and helped her up.
"Where do you live? I can help you." Penelope said picking up the girl.
"Glasgow, Ashton lane miss." the girl said.
Kennilworthy looked at her and picked up the broom.
Penelope sat behind Kennilworthy and placed the girl in front of her on the broom.
She could see the regret in Kennilworthy's eyes and began to feel guilty.
Once they reached the girl's home, Penelope and Kennilworthy waited until she got inside before they began to leave.
"I'm sorry." Penelope said looking down. "I couldn't see her die."
"Its fine, he deserved to die anyways." Kennilworthy said looking at the house. "Tried to kill a little girl."
Penelope still saw regret in his eyes but kept quiet.
As they turned around, the girl's parents came out to thank the two for saving their daughter.
