2 years later, 1951
Kennilworthy walked into the living room of his new apartment.
"It's quite nice to finally be in one place." He said inhaling, then exhaling.
A small dragon, beaming blue, flew past in front of him.
He rolled his eyes and smiled.
"Aurora, we don't want the new home to burn down because one of your dragons have gotten loose." He laughed. He looked up at the clock. "They'll be here any moment."
"Merlin's- Prismo! Come back here now!" Aurora called her from study.
Prismo flew over Kennilworthy's head, tail hitting his hair, down the hallway.
The door opened, then slammed and footsteps could be heard coming up the hallway.
Kennilworthy turned to see Aurora in a dark blue skirt with a white blouse tucked in.
"You look lovely." He smiled.
"Why thank you." She blushed.
There was a light knock at the door. Kennilworthy walked up to the door and inhaled.
He exhaled and opened the door.
"It's been too long." Orion smiled. "There's a lot of catching up to do."
"It's so good to see you again Orion." Kennilworthy shook his hand. "As well as you Veronica, please come in."
The couple walked in with the daughter Venus, who was by her heavily pregnant mother's side.
"This is Aurora, we've been roommates for about a year now, but we met two years ago." Kennilworthy said walking more into the room. "Well, kind of two years, it's complicated."
Both Orion and Veronica shook Aurora's hand smiling.
"Please sit down, I'll bring some tea?" Aurora said gesturing to the sofa.
"It's fine Aurora, you don't need to pretend." Kennilworthy chuckled under his breath.
Aurora sighed with relief and walked to sit with the others.
There was a silence for a moment.
"I see you two are expecting again?" Kennilworthy asked.
"No I'm just fat." Veronica looked at him annoyed.
Kennilworthy's face turned red. "I- I'm so sorry."
"I'm joking." Veronica laughed. "What was your trips like? Clearly you two met somehow."
"Yea, how did you two meet?" Orion said holding Venus on his lap.
"Well it's complicated." Kennilworthy said still red. "I'm pretty sure you remember when you helped me fix the snitch."
"We were in Norway, almost got killed but everything's been crazy." Aurora said getting a little red.
