When Trey finally let me go, after many false good byes where he pulled me back in for another kiss, I went into the apartment with a dopey grin on my face. I couldn’t help it, I felt like I was floating.

“There had better not be a baby Trey in that belly!”

“What the hell!” I jumped and spun to face the couch where my brother had been lurking creepily in the shadows. “What’s the matter with you, you creep!” I demanded.

“It’s my job as your older brother to make sure you stay a virgin until you are at least 30. So there’s no baby in there, right?” he asked, getting up and pointing to my stomach.

“No!” I shrieked in protest, folding my hands over my stomach protectively.

“Then what did you do for so long?” he asked in disbelief.

“Talked!” I said, my voice still high pitched from embarrassment. “And Trey taught me how to ride a motorcycle.”

“Right. A ‘motorcycle’.” Hunter said, putting air quotations around the word.

“That’s not a euphemism, crazy brother! He really did take me to a driving course and taught me how to ride.”

Hunter raised his eyebrows, his face scrunching up in distaste, and I nearly screamed in frustration.

“Stop finding sexual innuendos everywhere!” I threw up my hands.

“Fine.” Hunter sulked. “But I’m serious about no babies running around.”

“That’s not going to happen, Hunter.” I rolled my eyes at him.

“You say that now…” he eyed me doubtfully.

I scowled at him and gave him a slight push as I walked by him. “Oh shut up, I have more self-control then that.”

“Well you are my sister, and my self-control is like zero.” A slow smirk spread across his face and I grimaced at him.

“That is so gross. Please never talk about your sex life ever again in my presence.”

“Better get used to it, you’ll probably hear someone through the walls eventually. They’re usually screamers, too.”

I gagged at him. “Oh my God. If you ever do that, I’ll bring Trey over and I’ll scream twice as loud as they do.”

It was Hunter’s turn to look disgusted and deeply disturbed, his face paling slightly at my threat. “I’ll go to their place.” He instantly said.

         “Better.” I nodded.

“So how was your date?” he asked, quickly looking for a different subject.

Remembering it made me smile again.

“You’re blushing!” Hunter said teasingly, before his frown returned and he looked suspicious. “You’re blushing.” He said again in a more disapproving tone.

“Jesus, nothing happened!” I said in exasperation. “Well, except for him asking me to be his girlfriend.” I added in a slightly lower tone.

         “What?” Hunter raised his eyebrows.

I blushed a bit more and repeated what I’d said in a slightly louder tone.
