So, yes. My mom is some what of an alcoholic. When she's not working, she's drinking.

Ever since my dad left to go be with a women that he had an affair with for over a year, Kelly, life had been pretty tough on my mom, a long with me.

My mom makes good money, so it wasn't like we lost our house or anything. But she lost the love of her life. They were together for about 20 years, I couldn't imagine the pain she's been through for the last few months.

"Good morning, mom." I greeted my mom as i walked into her room. She mumbled a 'morning' as she was still half a sleep, sipping her coffee.

I sat on her bed and crossed my legs. "Me and you should have a day together! Just me and you! we haven't done that in forever." I smiled at her.

She grinned lightly back. "I'd love that, Tee. Let me get ready." She got up and headed to her bathroom. I got up and went to go do the same.

I walked into my room and put on some black leggings, a plain blue t-shirt, and some blue converse. i put my hair in a half up, half down style and walked to my the living room where my mom was.

"Ready?" she asked. i nodded and we went to her car, getting in and driving to the mall. "So, how's school tee?"

I smiled. "School is great! Honors is a challenge, but i got it."

She nodded. "Just like me, my girl." She pulled up to the mall.

We got out and walked to the food court & ordered food, sitting down. "So I've been meaning to talk to you." my mom began eating.

"About?" i asked.

"A lot. for starters, i'm so sorry i haven't ben the best mother these last few months.. I'm so sorry i've been drinking so much. You don't deserve it. i plan on getting better..." She looked genuine.

I smiled lightly. "I forgive you, mom. I could never stay mad at you."

She smiled widely. "Thank you Tee.. also, there's a guy. His name is kent, we've been talking for a month now."

"Really! that's great.. When can i meet him?" I continued smiling at her.

"Soon! This weekend most likely." she nodded.

I finished my food and also nodded. i stood up along with her and we walked around, shopping for a few hours and catching up, before heading home.

We pulled up to the house and sat in the car for a second, before my mom turned to me. "I really enjoyed today, Tee. i hope we can do it again soon."

I smiled. "I'd love to mom." She smiled back at me and got out the car and walked into the house. I hopped out the car, with a big cheese on my face as i and walked into the house.

My phone began ringing and i answered it, sliding the phone in between my ear and shoulder. "Hello, Ms. Ciara." i said in a posh tone and began walking to my room.

"T-Teagan." She was crying. ciara never cries.

"What's Wrong?" I asked worried, stopping in my tracks.

"Can I come by your house?" She asked, her voice cracking.

"Of course, yeah! I'll come pick you up." I nodded and hung up.

I ran to my mom. "I'm going pick up Cj, love you." she looked up.

"what? why?" she asked.

"I don't know, but i have to go." I quickly left and hopped in my car, speeding to cj's.

If anything bad happened to cj, it won't be pretty. She's my best friend, basically my sister! I will kill a bitch for her!

I pulled up to Cj's house and texted her, telling her I'm here. She came outside with a big duffle bag and a hand bag. she hopped in my car and threw her stuff in the back, and say in the front.

It was quiet for about 3 minutes, I didn't wanna pressure her. But then, she busted out crying.

I didn't speak, just hugged her. I hugged her tight as I can as she cried in my chest. "Shh." I ran my fingers through her light brown locks and rocked her.

"I'm gonna start driving, we will talk when we get home, okay?" I whispered. She nodded and laid back on the passenger seat and cried quietly.

What's this bad? This bad where she's crying so much.. Ciara is the toughest girl I know...

I pulled up to my house and hopped out, grabbing Cj's bags and walking inside. My mothers car wasn't here so I assume she's out partying.

Guess that promise meant nothing.

Cj walked with me as I unlocked the door and heading to my room, I placed her bags down and sat on my bed "What happened Ciara?" I asked, placing my hand on her thigh

"Teagan.. I'm pregnant with G's baby." she whispered, making my mouth partially open "My parents kicked me out when they found out, which was when I called you." My mouth opened larger

"Oh, Cj" I hugged her. "You're welcome to stay here, I'll help you raise the baby, anything." I rubbed her back, pulling away. She smiled weakly.

"Thank you Tee. Thank you so much."

I nodded "Anything , for my best friend, but are you gonna tell g?" I asked, snuggling under my covers.

She nodded. "I'll tell him tomorrow, c-can you help? I'm major scared." She laid next to me

"Of course. Now, let's go to sleep, you need rest." I ran my hands through her hair until she fell asleep.

I snuggled into my pillow and began to fall asleep.
