song for chapter; love the way you lie pt. II
Hayes
"What was all that about?" Meala questioned, turning to me.
I let out a sigh, rubbing my temples. "It's. . . a long story, babe."
"Well I have time," She crossed her arms, sticking her foot out. "What the hell is going on?" She asked once again.
"Meala. . . Me and Teaga-." I was cut off by Matthew storming out, heading my direction.
"You! You fucked my girlfriend!" He yelled at me, pushing my chest. In the corner of my eye I saw Meala's face drop.
Fuck.
"Y-you what?" Meals stuttered as she took a few steps away from me.
I shook my head, running my hand through my hair. "Baby, I can explain." I stated as I was about to step towards her. Until Matthew cut me off once again, by shoving me once more.
"I finally let all of the shit go between you and Teagan, and you two go and pull this shit?" Matthew yelled at me as he got closer to his face.
He was right. We did both fuck up, bad. But damn, it isn't like he deserves her anyways.
"Bro, chill out. I'm sorry, okay? We were both shit faced. I don't remember anything at all."
He threw his head back and let out a bitter laugh. "So that makes it all good? I can go out, get wasted and me and Meala have sex? It's all fine?" He questioned me.
I bit my lip and turned to Meala. That's when the guilt really hit me. When I saw her hazel eyes filling with tears and her lip quivering. I sighed, slouching in guilt.
Matthew chuckled, shaking his head. "You and the little whore deserve each other."
(it was in this moment. he knew. he fucked up.)
My head shot up. I heard a small gasp. Before I could even think, my fist collided with his nose, knocking Matthew to the ground. I got on top of him and grabbed him by his shirt, hitting him repeatedly.
"Hayes, stop!" I heard as I felt a pair of small hands pull on my shirt.
"Don't you ever, ever talk about Teagan again!" I growled.
Matthew raged in anger. This kid had something in his eyes, I couldn't read. He grunted and flipped us around. He then began punching me in my face.
"Guys, stop! Nash! Cameron!" My vision was blurry. But I could make out the small curly head girl running to my brothers room. It was Teagan.
I started to see black spots pop up in my vision and felt real light headed. "Get the fuck off my brother, man!" I heard Nash yell as he yanked Matthew off of me and shoved him into the wall. "Are you fucking insane?" He questioned Mathew.
My ears were ringing and to be honest, my face was hurting like a bitch. "Hayes? Are you okay?" A body hovered over me. I couldn't make out who it was. "Come on, let's go get you bandaged up." The person spoke as she attempted to pull me up.
I tried to help push up, and eventually we got up. "Hey, I got you bro. Come on man." Another body slid up next to me. It was Nash.

Soon enough they had me laying down in bed. "Man, I'm tired." I yawned and closed my eyes. "Ow. It hurts to close my eyes."
"Hey, hey. Pooh bear, don't go to sleep yet. Let's clean you up first." Teagan sat next to me.
Teagan
I dabbed the peroxide coated Cotten on Hayes' busted lip as Nash adjusted his position. Hayes hissed as I patted his lip. "Ouch, again."
"Next time, maybe you'll think before your dumb ass goes fighting. . . He may have deserved it, but still." I spoke as I placed the bandage on his lip.
Cameron soon walked in with a ice bucket and sat down on his bed, pouring ice in a small Ziploc bag. "How you feeling man?"
"I know . . . But he called you something I didn't like, you know how I am." He let out a long sigh.
"It's fine, I'm fine. . . I mean, I did cheat on him. . ." I looked down. "How could I do that? I always talk about cheaters, yet I am one."
"Tee, you made a mistake. Matthew isn't all so perfect his self." Nash stated.
As much as I wanted to believe him, I felt so terrible. "Yeah . . . I whispered before standing up. "I'm going to head out, feel better." I smiled lightly at Hayes.
"Wait. . . Can you stay?" He asked as the door opened. Revealing Meala.
"I don't think that's a good idea." I pursued my lips before heading towards the door. Meala stepped aside and walked over to Hayes. She sat down where I was.
I looked at them one more time before heading out. I made eye contact with Hayes. He gave me a small smile. I returned it, opening the door and leaving.

[Hayes]
I let out a long sigh as Teagan walked out of the room. It was now only me, Meala, Cameron, and Nash; which was very, very awkward.
"Well, I'm going to head back to my room. . . Feel better bro." Cameron patted my knee and stood up. My eye brows furrowed as I looked at him.
"Yeah," Nash said as her stood up. "I'm going to go see Kaia." He scratched the back of his neck and began walking to the door.
I eyed them down as the walked out. I sure as hell didn't feel like talking right now.
As soon as the door closed, Meala cleared her throat and turned to me. "Hayes. . ." She began.
"No, Meala. . . Not right now." I shook my head as I sat up. But she protested as she crossed her arms.
"No, Hayes. We're talking right now. I'm your girlfriend, I deserve an explanation." She rose her voice.
I sighed and sunk my head. She's right. She did. I rose my head back up and looked at her. "Honestly Meala? I don't remember anything. Last I remember was me and Teagan taking shots with Olivia and Dillon, after that. . . I remember completely nothing. I'm not sure how to explain." I stated
She nodded slowly, looking down. I truly did feel terrible. No way I would have done that in my right mind.
"Can you just answer me one thing?" She questioned as she looked back up at me.
I nodded. "Anything."
"Do you still have feelings for her?" She bit her lip.
I hesitated for a second. Should I tell her? I do have feelings for Meala, but Teagans just. . . Teagan. I feel so much for her. I have for the longest.
"Hayes?" She questioned once more, knocking me out my thoughts.
"I don't know." I looked away from her. I didn't want to see her face.
She didn't say anything and nodded again, before standing up. "Okay." She spoke lowly and began walking to the door.
"Meala. . ." I reached for her arm. But she had already made it to the door.
"I'll talk to you later, Hayes." She said even lower then before, walking out the door.
I bit my lip and sunk into my covers. "I always find a way to fuck shit up. . ." I mumbled to my self before clicking the lamp off.
