"Honey, visiting days start tomorrow. . . You can't just stay in your room all day and look at pictures of you and her. It isn't healthy." My mom spoke softly as she leaned against my door. Aunt Calise put Teagan in a hospital 6 days ago and I'm going insane. All I've been doing is go to school, go to practice, and come home. I know she isn't going to be gone forever, but I can't imagine how alone she must be right now. "At least go check on Cj, see how she's doing. . . I think you both need each other right now."

"Jack's probably with her. I'm fine, it's almost 6 anyways, I'll just shower and go to bed." I cleared my throat, standing up and heading to the bathroom. My mom let out a sigh as I passed her by, which I ignored and grabbed a towel from the hall closet, and went to the bathroom.

I let out a groan as I woke up the next morning for school. So, you're probably wondering where I went last night. . . I don't feel like doing that whole flash back thing, so long story short, I went to Mad's house, she tried to help me, we got in a fight, and we're now broken up.

Not going to front, my heart was lowkey hurting. That girl was something different and she understood me in ways no one else could. "Hey. . ." I looked up to see Lyla lightly opening my door. . . Besides her, Lyla understood all of me, in ways I didn't even understand my self.

"Hey," I spoke lowly.

She walked over, "I'm sorry for everything that happened yesterday. . . Selfish wasn't the word I was looking for, It's just, I know what that man is capable of. . . I don't know what I would do if I lost you, Seña" She sighed, before pulling out a Hershey bar from behind her. "I also got you this."

"Oh, hell yeah! I forgive you. . . I mean I really want the chocolate." I smiled. Lyla rolled her eyes with a smile on her face and smacked my arm. "Just kidding, I really do forgive you. . . I'm sorry, too, Ly."

Lyla smiled softly before embracing me in a large hug. "Yay! Good!"

"But," I sighed. "We have on problem."

"Whats that?" She asked as she pulled back.

"I may have been an ass to Mad last night and we kind of broke up." I rushed into one sentence, looking un easy.

Lyla's eyes widened as she smacked me, "Seña! Really!"

I let out a frustrated huff and placed my hands in my hair, "I know. . . I need to get her back."

"I have an idea." Lyla smirked.

"I don't like that smirk."

"Really, Lyla? You really think this is going to work?" I questioned. We were currently at lunch at school, and Lyla decided to put me in a cheer uniform.

She pulled back from straightening out my uniform, "Do you want Mad back?"

I sighed and nodded, "Yes. Yes I do."

Lyla smiled. "Okay then! Here's the poster you made for her, the band is going to play her favorite song which is—."

"Aston Martin Music by Drake." I nodded. She smiled and nodded before looking in the window over the door.

"Ready?" She asked. I nodded, before she opened the door to the cafeteria. The band began playing and I started marching over to Mad, with the poster filled with pictures of us.

I saw her look around, before her eyes landed on me. She looked me up and down with a smile appearing on her lips. I hopped on our table, which had Hayes, Johnson, Jack, Cj, Jackie, Lyla, Bri, Kaia, and Mad sitting at.

The music stopped and I cleared my throat, "Madelaine Grobbelaar Petsch. I'm sorry for being the biggest jack ass last night. You're truly one of my most favorite human beings on this planet. . . And I'm in love with you. . . Please take me back?"

I watched her nose scrunch up as she pondered, making my heart race. She looked up at me with a wide grin on her face. "I'm in love with you too, yes, I'll take you back."

I smiled and hopped down, pulling her by her waist and locking my lips with hers. I really did love this girl.

[Lyla]

I was walking home from school, my headphones in, humming lowly. I was in a decent place right now. Only person I was missing was Johnson.

He called me after he found out about everything. He apologized, I told him I didn't want pity and we had a heart-to-heart. I missed my baby, we would be making 9 months next month.

I pursed my lips and stopped for a moment. I had to get him back. I nodded and began heading to his house. I hears a faint yell and stopped in my tracks again, turning around to see no one. My eyebrows furrowed and I turned back to see a face I never wanted to see again.

I pounded on Johnsons door, rain pouring down on me that was blending with the tears running down my face. The door flung open, revealing a shirtless, half-asleep Johnson. "Lyla? It's 2 in the morning." He scratched his head. "Hey. . . What's wrong? Why are you crying?"

My lip trembled as I squeezed my eyes shut, "Jack, h-he d-did it again." My voice cracked as I opened my eyes.

Johnsons eyes saddened, with a hint of anger in his eyes, before pulling me into the house and into his arms. "Come on, you can stay here tonight." He spoke into my hair, rubbing my back as I sobbed into his chest. "Hey, hey. I got you. . . It's fine."

[Seña]

I ran my hand through Mad's hair as we watched tv. I was spending the night with her. My phone chimed in my pocket. "Hm, who could that be." I took my phone out and checked it.

Johnson:

He did it again. This man
needs to go before I kill him
with my bare hands.

My nose flared as I clicked my phone off. "Baby, what's wrong?" Mad looked up at me.

"Robert did it again to Lyla. . ." I spoke as my eyes watered. Mad let out a small gasp before standing up and grabbing her phone, dialing a number and making a call. "Mad?"

"Yes. Robert Beer. No, I want it done tonight. . . I know it's not like me to be like this, but he's a terrible man. . . Thank you." She spoke before hanging up the phone and turning to me. "Lets say it's handled. I'll get into details later." She spoke before laying back down on my lap.

I nodded slowly, "I'm trusting you, red."

also, i got no school til' thursday because of a hurricane and a sis is happy.
