[Teagan]

Two weeks had passed since the funeral. Three since Seña passed away. Everyone's getting better, but it's still very sad. "Ugh! The wedding starts in an hour and Liz isn't here she's my maid of honor I'm freaking out— Liz! Oh God." My mom let out a breathe of relief as Aunt Liz walked into my moms room.

Aunt Liz let out a soft chuckle as she set my mothers dress down on her bed, "I'm sorry. Some old hag was doing 45 in a 60! Old people." She shook her head making me laugh. Today was the day guys! Today was the day my moms name changed to 'Calise Nicole Andrew' and I've never been so happy for my mom.

"You're telling me! I was bringing Jay to the doctor, and some dumb dude wants to go 20 in a 30. Like I know you scared but damn dude! I got places to be!" Cj rolled her eyes as she finished up my hair.

"That's why I speed." I smiled innocently, making my mom turn around and eye me. "Just kidding!" I blew her a kiss and stood up, grabbing my dress.

"Yeah, mhm." My mom rolled her eyes as Aunt Liz helped her into her dress. "Is Lyla and Madelaine coming today?" She questioned as she adjusted her self in the mirror.

I nodded, "Yes. They said they wouldn't miss it. . . You ready mom?" I wiggled my eyebrows.

She smiled, nodding. "I'm so ready! Matter of fact," She stood up and handed us our bouquets. "It's time!"

Me and Cj peaked out of the tent from the backyard, my mom and Kent decided on a house wedding. "Aww look at Kent!" Cj exclaimed, nagging on my dress.

I smiled as I watched him communicate with Johnnie, his best man. This really was my dude. "Okay! Cj you're walking out first with Kent's nephew, I'm walking with Hayes, and then the rest of my family."

"He cute?" She smirked, making me glare. "Just kidding! I'm engaged!" She whispered as she walked out, making me laugh lightly. I watched as she linked arms with Kent's nephew and began walking down.

Once they were about mid-way down the isle, me and Hayes met in the middle and began walking. "You look absolutely gorgeous," He whispered into my ear, making me shiver.

I smiled up at him. "Thank you."

"You know, one day I'll be standing where Kent is. You'll be walking down the aisle and become my beautiful wife, just wait, it's going to happen." He spoke before we parted. I smiled shyly to my self and made eye contact with Kent, putting my hand under my chin and giving him the little rascal wave.

He laughed lightly and did it back. I looked around the yard and spotted Elliot, who was already staring and smiling at me. I waved, smiling back.

Soon enough, little Lydia came walking down the isle shyly, throwing the light blue flower petals. Kimberly and Skate smiled brightly at her.

The music started and everyone stood up, facing down the aisle. My mom appeared with my Pa-Poo, Dhalil. I looked at Kent who was smiling brightly with his eyes watering. This was his first wedding, my dude was happy!

My mom got down and she handed her bouquet to Liz, as my Pa-Poo kissed my moms cheek and shook Kent's hand firmly, before handing my mom off and seeting new to my Mawmaw. They flew down here from New Orleans, its where my mom and them were raised. (my city ayyy)

The ceremony began and the Preacher began to read from the bible. I began swaying on my feet back and forward as I watched them. Hayes' gaze caught my eye and I smiled, waving a small wave. He waved back and reflected my smile.

"—Til death do us part." My mom's voice cracked as she looked in Kent's eyes. I smiled sadly. It's crazy how I've known Kent for over a year now and how much he's changed our lives for the better. It's crazy how so much has changed in a year. . .

I looked in the crowd where Madison was, her now 2 month old baby girl, Ryley, on her lap with Meala next to her. A year ago I wanted to drag these girls, but they're goon in my book now.

I looked over to two empty seats, Jackie and Chanley's spots. Jackie was one of my closet friends for 6 years. We met Chanley a year ago. Now they switched up and left.

My eyes then trailed to the empt seat next to Lyla. Actually? The seat wasn't empty.

There was a baby seat and inside lied a beautiful baby girl. Saige Jai Beer. . . That's right. Seña adopted a baby two days before she passed away with Madelaine. We had just found out a few days ago when Madelaine went off to get her.

Life is crazy.

"You may now kiss the bride!" The preacher exclaimed as he closed the bible. "Mr. & Mrs. Andrew everyone!"

"Ain't got to tell me twice!" Kent exclaimed before dipping my mom down and kissing her. I laughed and me an Cj looked at each other with a scrunched up face before letting out a giggle.

My mom and Kent pulled back and walked down the aisle, "Fuck yeah!" I grabbed onto Cj's hand as we walked behind them.

"You know, we haven't been to a wedding in almost 10 years." Cj looked at me as we stood by a table. "Last time, I was 9 and you were 8, we were dancing to David Banner."

I smirked, "Again? For old times sake?" I asked as she took Jayson from Jack.

She reflected the smirk. "You're on, sista!" She grabbed my hand with her free one and walked up to the dj, telling him the song. 'Dance the night away' by David Banner.

I laughed as we went on the dance floor and began dancing with Jayson, "And lets dance the night away! Woah!" I sung and dance while poking his side, making him giggle.

"You really do love her, don't you bro?" Tez asked as he sat on the chair next to me.

"I really do," I smiled as I watches Teagan twirl Jayson around and dance with Cj, with the most biggest smile on her face. "It's so hard not having her." I sighed, swirling my drink around.

"Hey! Don't give up man, you and Teagan are literally destined to be together. . ." He trailed off.

I nodded, "Yeah, I believe so. . . You going to that graduation party tomorrow with Bri?" I change the subject, turning to him.

"Yes I am, I heard it's going to be dope as hell." He spoke as he laid back in his seat.

"I sure hope so." I spoke before focusing my attention back on Teagan.
