His eyes are what awakened me
His sound is what made me freeze into place
A place that later we would call space

I cannot recall a time where I didn't fall hard.
Even on the day where we had to let go
Though, we'd know
That some day we will meet again
Over and over our loop of love began
He feared to die and re-live a time
Where he can't remember me or the love that we shared
Till this day we do not know why we live on until eternity
But I do know with pure certainty
Is that I would rather live our cascade of sparks over and over again
Than love in one life and have it casket away
As if there never was an eternal flame
-
However,
our
dreams
will never die
Nor will they ever tell us lies
And of course frustration grows
For they tell us what happened many years ago
Like each astonishing day we'd first meet in our centuries of lifetimes
Or even the days I had to lose you..
Those are my nightmares and I wish they aren't true
But lying is something our minds would never do..

We had always chosen one another and every moment we look at each other
We forget our troubles
And we'd often forget that one of us will soon meet death while the other lives and sees another day
And of course we will ask,
"Why does it have to be this way?"
He then will tell me,
"we are destined my love"
In at least a thousand different
ways those words are stuck on replay
Yet..
Each time feels as if it were the first
So let us never question this
Curiosity may bang into our doors
But a reminder we'll have is our recorded butterflies
For we live now and we must enjoy
Our love is forever
Just ask the viceroy's
