17. Boys.

Autum's P.O.V

I felt his heart pounding. We laid for a moment and looked into each other's eyes. He spoke, firm but sweet. "I want you to tell me everything that's happened in your life while I wasn't here. I'll tell you mine. You tell me yours. We can go back to our talks we used to have."

I smiled. "But we don't have our... Special place..!" I said, gliding my finger around his chest.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door.

We walked down to the corner shops. "Coffee?" He smiled. "Even I forgot about my coffee addiction." I scoffed. He smiled and replied, "How could I? You always had a cup up to your sweet lips." He said, sweetly. As we walked toward the building, the rocks of the pavement crunched under my feet, holding his hand was a wonder for me, and I watched as he lead me into the building.

He grabbed my hand, we ordered, and sat down where we had the most privacy. "You start. And be honest." I smiled.

"After you left I waited. For an hour. I felt like a dweeb, and that I just lost the most beautiful girl I'd ever meet." He pushed my hair out of the way to reveal the scar below my ear. I could feel my cheeks heat up. "I went to find you but you disappeared. I walked home, and texted you. No answer. Called. Nope. You disappeared. You weren't at school either. But I just thought you hated me. I mean, look at me."

His eyes filled with sincere emotion. "Aria started talking to me. I told her about you, and she just kissed me. After school, she followed me home." I started thinking. He better not say what I think he's gonna say. "We made out. I didn't feel sparks though, or anything. It was SOO bland. And then she took my shirt off. I shoved her away.

She just made me crave you more. I started skipping school. Hell, I should be home right now. But dad didn't really care so, I went to find you. I cane to New York for you. I have had dreamed for the past month of you laying your head on my chest, and all of the memories. You're the only one that understands. This past 6 months I have mountain climbed, been to Hawaii, worked out, got in a fight... And found you. I figured I needed to fix my flaws before being seen with someone that has such a beautiful mind and..." He trailed off again, staring at me. 

"I was closed. But felt so open to the demons." I sighed. "The only other guy that ever got rid of them was Kevin. He is one layered, but he makes me feel safe." I looked up the see the waitress bring us our coffee.

I ordered a Chai Latte while he ordered strong black coffee. I sipped it and continued. "He gave me the ring promising he'll be here for me no matter what." I looked down at my hand remembering that I took it off. "That hill, is where I drained my heart out to him."

I went on explaining every detail of Kevin's existence. Jason nodded and followed along, and seemed to be completely accepting of my relationship with Kevin. ...Until I said he slept with me the night before Jason came inside my home.

"What?!" He yelled, and looked into my eyes. He muttered off. "Its okay. I know about you and love and its tricky babe. But if you like him I won't keep you from him." He sighed. 

I thought deep. I closed my eyes and actually thought. With my whole brain this time.

I only really liked Kevin for the sexual thrill. And his Hollister beach bod. I think?

But Jason... He was something different. He knew exactly what I was thinking, He knows everything about me, even shares some of my issues and more, and he didn't have to even touch me to make me feel alive.

Ugh.

My mind switches so easily. GOD, I can't handle drama or emotions. Think brain think! My human side of me filled with guilt. I was sleeping with Kevin. Now I'm here making out with Jason. I wonder what Kevin is doing right now.
