I woke up with sweat pouring down my face, my limbs stiff and numb, and the sensation of shaking in my head. I felt nausea, and my cheeks felt flat, as if life itself was sucked out of me.

"Wait where am i?"

I looked around this grassy field, and stood to my feet. I was standing in a graveyard.

And then I turned around. JOEY.

Every inch of my body tensed and I felt my face heat up. But this wasn't the chemistry created by infatuation in Kevin's presence. This was anger and fear swirled into a chaos of endless emotion.

"Please stop! Please don't be afraid of me."

His voice was soft, seemingly graceful. It was manly and thick, And I felt intimidated, yet calm.

"Joey?" I stuttered.

"Yes. Just hold on for a minute please, I am begging you." He sighed. "Let me explain something. It's not about the dance, it's about you."

I felt hurt. "I think I know myself more than you know me."

"Yeah, well you have a very preconceived idea of the person I am too."

I got pissed. "WELL RUINING MY ABILITY NOT BE AFRAID, FOR DRIVING ME INSANE DAY TO DAY ISNT A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION ASSHOLE." I screeched.

"It wasn't me, Leanne." He sounded truly sympathetic and in that moment I felt my stomach drop and my temples begin to sting.

"Le- how do you?"

"That's why we need to talk. Somewhere safe. Where we're alone."

"WHY THE HELL SHOULD I TRUST YOU. WHY THE HELL AM I IN A GRAVEYARD?"

He begin to walk towards me and I stood still. He shuffled past me heading for the streetlights, and I hesitantly followed, keeping my distance. And then I saw the same car that sat outside my window, with a different license plate.

The Chevy symbol look scratched and faded.

He pulled something out of his car. "Here." He handed me a pistol. "Do you feel safer?" My hand shook as I begin to notice that a gun is a lot heavier than I had predicted to be, as well as the heaviness that was held by it, the fact with one push, I could end a human's life.

"Please just come with me. We are going to your house. And if not, if we don't end up at your house in five minutes, shoot me." I climbed in the car hesitantly.
