"Rain again....?" You sighed a bit "Aren't you supposed to be going right now?" You turned to eye Akechi who lied comfortably on the futon "No. No one messaged me from the office about anything major coming up. Aside from that the trains I get on are starting to delay so I'm not going anywhere anytime soon." Akechi stretched comfortably and you smiled at him a bit. Eventually, a loud roar of thunder echoed through the sky and scared you and apparently the lights too. All the lights in the home shut off, the power was cut. Akechi sat on the futon laughing lightly at you "Aw, are you scared?" "That's not funny Goro!" "It is. Just a little bit though, it's cute. Come here..." You walked over to him shaking a bit as he sat you down on his lap. "I'll protect you. You know that right?" His was soothing as he whispered and smiled lightly as he wrapped the blanket around you both. "This will probably be the only break I get for quite awhile. So I'll enjoy it with you...." Akechi eventually yawned and lied down with you. Smiling like a dork as you admired his face for a moment, soon falling asleep with him.
