Persona 5 Darker Elements and Symbols:
Holy Grail: Oof...this'll trigger atheists just a bit. But according to the Bible Mary Magdelin is the blood of Christ. You remember how those little veins or tubes that flowed out from it? That's symbolism toward the bible. Since God had impregnated Mary giving birth to Christ making her known as the Holy Grail since the blood flows through her veins. The people in mementos scream stop because your attempting to stop a God whose wills pit against its very own, by pitting Akechi and Akira into a game, the seven deadly sins held upon people, and using the people as a sacrifice with their blood. Blinded by the fruition that, God or Jabalodoth would save them from endless captivity.
Futaba Sakura & Yusuke Kitagawa & Goro Akechi: All the suicide due to suppression. You have fabricated Suicide, intentional suicide, and purposeful suicide. Connect the dots for a second, two committed suicide by a man and one was murdered but was covered up as a suicide. Causing each of them to go through some type of mental illness and develop it as they got older. Yusuke with Autism and maybe OCD, Futaba with suicidal depression and anxiety, finally Goro Akechi multiple personality, depression, and compulsive disorder. The causes? Madarame for watching Yusuke's mother die, Shido for breaking Akechi mentally for having him watch his mother's suicide, and the men in black suits for fabricating Wakaba's murder.
Akira Kurusu: None of his parents were mentioned, I mean at least Minato's parents were mentioned and partially seen (Minato's awakening.) and at least Narukami had family that he actually knows. But what's the relationship between Akira's parents and Sojiro? Well let's rule out automatically that his mother and Sojiro were never married because he was married to Wakaba. But I can't say that they didn't date, because they very well may have. I mean you can't know my parents and give him to a random stranger without some sort of connection, being the age of 16 that's considered kidnapping. It's not human trafficking if he was pawned off for drugs, so that's far off the spectrum.
