Annie's POV
I lye next to Hayden. Slightly delirious. I only fell asleep for a few minutes. It's four in the morning. His phone rings.
Momma❤🇨🇱 
"Hello?" He says in his raspy voice.
"You didn't tell me you were engaged! What the hell is wrong with you not to tell me something like that." She says loud enough for me to hear. Hayden and his mom haven't talked in a long time. I grab his hand.
"Mom we haven't talked in three years. And last time I checked you wanted nothing to do with me and the rest of the family." He snaps. They argue for a little while longer. He hangs up
"We're going to Texas." He says softly.
"Okay. Hayden don't blame yourself. She told you she didn't want anything to do with anyone." We lay back down. I snuggle up next to him. And gently kiss him. I put on our show (The fosters) we watch an episode and slowly fall asleep.

I wake up alone in the bed. I see Hayden at the desk.
"What are you doing?" I sit up.
"Looking at your schedule to see when we can go to Texas. And you don't have another day off for a long time." He says annoyed.
"Babe don't worry. I have a bunch of vacation days. And they'll understand. I'll call right now." I get up and kiss his cheek. I walk downstairs and call.
"Hey Chad it's Annie. Something came up and, Hayden and I have to go to Texas. I'll be back to start filming. I just need like a day and a half." I say as I get lunch together. I slept really late.
"Oh no problem. The girls will be thrilled they have time off. We have work to do around the studio any way. We can focus on scripts, editing, and sets. Have fun in Texas." He says cheerily.
"Thank you so much." He hangs up. I text my publicist.
Anners: book two tickets to Texas ASAP don't leak it. Personal trip.

SmartiePants: on it. When do you come back. Everything okay?

Anners: come back on uhm Wednesday in the afternoon. Yea. Going to see Haydens mom.

SmartiePants: okay. You leave in an hour.

I walk upstairs.
"Our flights in an hour hurry up." I say laughing.
"What? How?"
"I'm magical didn't you know?" He laughs.
"Did I tell you lately how much I love you?" I smile.
"Not today." He comes close to me and whispers in my ear.
"I love You." He kisses me.
