Annie's POV
Today is the day. The day I put the past behind me. I walk out the door and sit on the steps. My phone vibrates.
LA Homiess🤘😜
Uncle Rush🤘: plans for today?
Aunt Brooke💫: dude we just talked about this🙄
Markus👴: we're showing around Annikans friend😊
Johnson👻: who none of us like yet😬
Kenzers💃: can't. Recording😬 make it up to you Anns💖
Annikan🤖: it's okay kenz. But guys please give her a chance
Hayser😎: Hunters birthday spending day with him. I'll try to meet up w you guys later.  Sorryy princess💜💜
Annikan🤖: it's okay. Guys where are we meeting up? She's gonna be here soon.
Aunt Brooke💫: Starbucks?
Uncle Rush🤘: yeah everyone in LA needs to know the local Starbucks
Annikan🤖: great. Meet up in 20?
I get a thumbs up from each of them. It really sucks Kenzie can't make it. Liv loves dance mom's. I look up. Liv stands in front of me. I jump up.
"I missed you!!" We say in unison. We talk during the walk to Starbucks.
"Don't be nervous. Their good people." I say. She shrugs. We walk in. I instantly spot the others.
"Guys this is Liv. Liv this is Mark Thomas. Johnny Orlando. And Brooke and Rush Butler." They all try to be as polite as possible. Mark is trying the hardest.
"How old are you guys?" Liv says.
"I'm 16. Brooke is 15. And Johnny and Rush are 13." Mark says. We all sit and have our coffee. Liv tries making conversation. Brooke Rush and my phone buzz at once.

Nicole💖: you all are gonna be on a Brat show
Brooke💖: omg

Rush💖: me too?
Nicole💖: all of you. You start tomorrow

Annie💖: Hayden!!!
We all put down our phones. Brooke and I stand up and squeal.
"What?" Mark asks.
"We're on a show!!!!!" We say in unison.
"That's amazing!" Johnny says. Rush picks me up and spins me around. I see Livs face drop. I tap his shoulder. He puts me down. We smile awkwardly at eachother.
"I'm so proud of you!" Liv says. I hug her. We leave Starbucks and walk around.
"So when did you move to LA?" Rush says. I smile they're coming around.
"A couple weeks ago." She says. They all spark up random conversations. My phone vibrates.
Hay Hay💜💍: Hey. Where are you guys i was gonna meet up with you
Anns💜💍: Are you sure? Shouldn't you spend time w Hunter it's his bday. And I want you to meet Liv seperatly. Your hardest to please. And their just coming around. But up to you💜💜💜

I put my phone away. I feel bad now. My mood changes. But I fake it.
"What's wrong?" Mark whispers.
"I think Hayser is mad at me." I whisper back. He pulls me close to him.
"It's okay Annikan. He'll come around." He whispers. I nod. The others notice me. Brooke gives me a look. Meaning, emergency? I shake my head dramtically. Whom I dreaded noticing was Rush. He still has feelings for me and I don't want Liv to feel bad. His head turned frantically in my direction. Marks arm dropped.
"Aw what's wrong with Annikan." He smiles at me.
"Nothings wrong." I fake a smile. Brooke Liv and Johnny believe it. Mark pretends to. Rush looks in my eyes. I shake my head. He wraps his arm around me. I shake it off before Liv sees. After a few more hours we all part ways. Instead of going to my house I go to Haydens. I pull myself together and knock on the door. Dylan answers.
"Heyyyy it's Annikan!" He yells so everyone hears. I give him a hug. He leads me to the living room where the rest of the family is. I wave to everyone. I hand Hunter his present and give him a hug. I search the room for Hayden. He's not here? Brec notices my searching and points up the stairs, I mouth thank you to her. And walk up the stairs. I stand in his doorway. He sits at his desk staring at his phone. I quietly knock. He jumps.
"You scared me." He laughs.
"Can I come in?" I say. He nods. I sit on his bed.
"I'm not mad at You. I just wanted to be included." He said. I gave him a questioning look. He tossed me his phone. Which had been spammed with texts from Mark.
Thomas😛: dude why are you mad at Annie
Thomas😛: th you bummed her out for the rest of the time
Thomas😛: it's your brothers birthday. You act like your not gonna meet her. You already have.
Thomas😛: we know you read her texts. That's why we changed the subject.
What.
"You went through my phone?" I say.
"It kept going off. The other day when you were asleep.  So I checked it." He said.
"So what. Hayden i don't hide anything from you. I tell you everything. What I'm not aloud to have one group chat without you in it?" I snap.
"No I don't care about that. I care that you were hiding you were talking to Liv again. Or whoever." He snapped back.
"You wanna know who I've been talking to. You really want to know." I say.
"Its Brennan okay. Because he's the only way I can make sure Katies okay. Because as you know she won't speak to me because I spend so much time with you!"
"Don't blame me for that. It's not my fault when you moved here you lost sight of your old priorities. I wouldn't have cared you were talking to Brennan. But I care now since you hid it from me."
"Wow Hayden. That's low." I say. I walk out of his room holding back tears. Everyone is still in the living room.
"I uhm I'm gonna go. I uh don't think I'm wanted here right now. But uhm happy birthday Hunter. And it was uhm great to see you all." I stutter.
"Annie are you okay. What happened. Do I have to beat his ass?" Jimmy asked me.
"No it's fine. We're fine. I'll uh talk to you guys later." I stutter. I walk out the door. I run back to my house.
"Hey guys. I'm tired so I'm just gonna go upstairs and lay down." I say and run upstairs. I grab a pen and paper.
