Magdalyn "Maggie" James

I don't see much of Kirsnick after that. One day they were here and the next they were gone. I talked to him on the phone often but it was never for too long because he was either working or getting ready for a show. Surprising he was loving it, he was a quiet dude, and then on stage he was somebody different. It was interesting to see.

He gave me and jam tickets to their show when they come back into town. She was more excited than anything because it meant that she would be able to see her on again off again fling Mr. Offset. We got ready for the show and Cameron dropped us off.

"We'll call you when we're ready." I said to him.

"alright," he said. "don't do anything stupid."

"What do you mean?" Jam asked him.

"you know exactly what the hell I mean." He said.

She rolled her eyes and slammed the door. "whatever, bye baby brother."

He drove away and we headed inside the venue. We went to the seats that we were given and we weren't there long before someone in a black 'staff' t-shirt came to get us. We crossed over the barrier and got a few jealous looks from the girls around us as we were escorted behind the stage and into a long hallway lined with rooms. He stopped in front of one particular door and turned to us. He gave us a plain look as he knocked on the door and it was yanked open from the other side.

"Maggie!" Called a loud and annoyingly familiar voice. Quavo bounced over to the door and before i could react he reached out and wrapped his arm around my shoulder and pulled me inside the room. The rest of the guys were there along with a few others who I hadnt seen before. I got hugs and greeting from everyone because for some reason they knew who I was.

"my nephew been talking about you all day he didn't expect you to come you know." Quavo said. I looked around and realized that he wasn't here. "he went to the bathroom. He should be back in a few minutes.

"alright," I said with a nod.

Kirshnik "Takeoff" Ball

"man, I told you I have to move around for my job I can't always be there to make drops because we on the road." I said into the phone. He laughed, he really wasn't trying to hear what I was trying to say because he still wanted me to work for him. I paid him back three times over but he still claims that I owe him. If this keeps goin on like this it'll never stop.

"okay well luckily I have a solution for you." He replied.

"and what is that?" I asked not really wanting to know what his so-called solution was because most of the time it just dug me deeper and deeper into the shit hole.

"you have a younger brother don't you, he's still in high school which means that he right in the area for my target customer pool and-"

"no," I said to him. "absolutely not he has nothing to do with this."

"either he's gonna take your place or you're gonna have to step up your game." He said.

"What does that mean?" I asked.

"I was looking at the schedule for your tour and you have a show in Mexico coming up not too long from now." He said.

"yeah," I answered. My stomach turned in knots because I didn't want to hear what he would have to say next but if this would be the thing that would get me out of working for him then I'll do whatever he asked me to do.

" Been trying to get my hands on some new shit south of the border but haven't had anybody clean enough to pass through without getting picked up or being too obvious." He said.

"and you want me to do it?" I asked.

"no, you crazy? The shit that yall talk about in yall songs they'll be paying extra close attention to you, but if you were to bring someone with you....someone green, and put them on a separate flight with the stuff that I need they could pass through no problem."

"and where am I supposed to find somebody like that?" I asked him.

"you're not dumb. Figure it out." He answered before hanging up right in my face. I slid my phone into my pocket and turned around to head back to the green room and when I did quavo was bounding over to me with a big smile.

"they came," he said.

"who came?" I asked.

"Maggie," he said. "damn, you sent her the tickets and then forget that she was supposed to be coming. Come on bruh." He waved me over before turning to head back down the hallway to the green room. It's like I take one step forward and ten steps back and now it's either gonna be my little brother or putting somebody innocent in the position to get in a whole lot of trouble.

"can I have a break please?" I asked looking up at the ceiling. "I really just need a break."
