Magdalyn "Maggie" James

Just like always Jam is a million times more excited about this whole thing than I am. She was bouncing around like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh and gawking at any and everything we passed. Offset was following close behind her as we walked down a strip of road near the hotel that was lined with stores and even had little vendor cart on the sidewalk. She wanted something from every stand we passed by and he paid for anything that she picked up and said that she wanted. By the time we got to the end of the strip he was carrying bags like he was walking through the mall on Black Friday.

"She gone kill my pockets." Offset said.

"you got her started..... you should have said no." I replied.

"How?" He asked.

"Jam! Come on, I wanna go to the beach while there still some sun left." I said.

She put down the sunglasses she was undoubtedly about to ask offset to buy for her and she came back over to where we were standing. "we going to the beach?" She asked.

"Yeah, we just need to go back to the room and change." I grabbed her by the arm and was started back in the direction of the hotel. We went into our room and changed into our bathing suits and headed down to the beach. The guys weren't there; they had to leave to go do interviews so it was just Jam and me at the beach.

I sat on a towel that we had laid out under an umbrella. Jam was in the water but there was no way in hell that I was getting in that water. There were fish and everything swimming around in there and I'm not about to get attacked by sharks today.

"Hey, are you Maggie?" I looked up and standing there was a woman I had never seen before. I don't know who this girl is but she knows my name. She was pretty; olive skin and bright green eyes. She looked like someone that would be on the cover of a magazine somewhere and yet here she was talking to me.

"Can I help you?" I asked her.

"I'm looking for someone, an old friend of mine and he said that he was gonna be here on the beach with you....is rocket here?" She said to me. I shook my head, I don't know who the hell rocket is but she must be talking about Nick, but I didn't see him on the phone or anything so when did he even have time to talk to this girl and tell her where he was going to be.

"no, no he isn't."

"well, when you see him can you tell him that Jade is looking for him and that he should call me." She turned and walked away without another word. Seconds later Jam walked over to me and threw herself down on the towel next to mine or at least I think that's what she was trying to do. She missed the towel and landed in the sand. She had that shit everywhere.

"you're going to have to wash off in the water before we leave. " I said to her.

"Yeah, I know." She said as she tried and failed to dust off her arms. "who was that girl?"

"her name was jade, I think she was looking for Kirsnick, she told me that when I see him to tell him to call her."

"that don't seem weird to you?" Jam asked making a face. I knew what she was getting at but honestly, I don't have time to lose my mind over it right now.

"It don't but honestly that's not my business. We aint in no relationship." I said rolling my eyes.

"Whatever you know you love that boy and just the thought of that girl is pissing you off," she said.

"stop it." I stood up from where I was sitting and grabbed my towel from the sand. "you gonna wash that shit off so we can go?"

"whatever," she replied.
