Well hello there Diary,
Pleased to see me? I thought so!
Guess what? I got a new friend! Sounds sad right? That I'm so happy about it but well I don't have many friends, and find it hard to fit in so it was really, what's the word? New!? Alexis a Gryffindor and she's SO sweet! The funny thing is she has a crush on Remus!
I also had an strange encounter with a Slytherin named, Marica? She was, unusual and didn't seem like most other Slytherins she was, Nice! I know that's stereotyping saying all Sytherins are mean but, you KNOW I have a good reason! The thing that surprised me the most is I think I actually like her! She's really shy like me so we sort of get along.
We're having loads of events on this year and I can't wait for the Quidditch cup final! It's going to be AM-AZING! But the thing I'm dreading, the thing that I really despise is the Masked Ball I mean, seriously? Does the school hate me, not only doesn't the 'Guy' I like completely ignore me but he's obviously going to ask Lily! And Remus will obviously ask Alexis I mean, they're perfect for each other! And like always I'll be left on my own, but I'll be dead before I go with Peter, the creep.
Oh look! It's my favourite time of the day again, Lunch!
See you soon,
A very happy Leonie.
xoxo

I heard a sharp knock on the common-room door and knew it could only be Lily, she's the only one I've ever told where we stay - Well except Alexis - I rush down the tunnel that connects us to the Kitchens and fling open the Barrels Hatch, smiling.
"Hi Leo, what's up?" She smiles, her hair as shiny and beautiful as always.
I wanted to vomit.
"Hi!" I smile cheerily, I know it's not her I mean, she can't help being absolutley gorgeous and kind can she?
Hmm, I'd like to see her without all that hair.
"Shut-up" I hissed to myself, was I really going insane over James Stinkin' Potter?
No, I was going insane over the girl that stole him.
"Ready?" She asks, already walking toward the great-hall, I rambled along behind her.
"C'mon Leo, you really need to hurry up or the places by the Marauders will be taken!" She urged, well sorry for being slow.
I sighed, another one of my inperfections Lily accidentally pointed out.
"Alright, alright I'm coming" I huffed, causing her to give a little chuckle.
"So, what do you think of the masked ball? Wont it be amazing!" She squealed once I was close enough to hear.
"Uh yeah" I sighed, the truth is I'm really dreading it I mean, not only to I look terrible in frilly dresses, how am I going to get a date?
Speaking of the Ball, I bet Remus is going to ask Alexis! They're so sweet together and she really likes him.
"Well?" She asked, assuming I'd know what she's talking about.
"Well what?" I asked after a minuet, hoping she'd go on.
She sighed and sat down, the hall was basically empty, I don't know what she was going on about earlier "What are you going to wear!" She exclaimed biting into a tomato.
"Oh, I'm not sure yet anyway the ball is ages away an-"
"WHAT!" She squealed "You don't have any idea of what you're going to wear?"
I shook my head, grabbing a chicken leg and greedily biting into it.
"Well you should" She laughed "It might be ages away but everything will be sold out by then! Hm, maybe we could ask Jasmine, she's nice and her mum's a designer!"
I sighed "Yeah" looking around for someone who isn't obsessed with the Ball, I know who wouldn't be, I smiled, Marica.
I looked around for her but she hadn't arrived yet, damn.
"Hey Leo" Smiled Alexis, creeping up on me from behind, I jumped.
"Damn, Alex!" I grinned as she sat next to me, offering her a chicken leg.
"What's up?" She asked, politely declining my chicken leg offer, taking a slice of chocolate cake and winking.
"Not much, sorry Mrs. Lupin but Mr. Lupin hasn't arrived yet" I teased, setting down my beloved chicken leg.
"Oii!" She giggled poking me, her cheeks blushed crimson whereas her mouth was smeared brown.
"Here" I laughed giving her a napkin "Have you seen Marica anywhere?"
"Who?" She asked, oh right I hadn't told her about the strange Slytherin girl.
"Don't worry," I smiled "Potions next."
"C'mon then!" She said finishing her cake and walking out of the hall, I'd only just realised it but I'd been eating that chicken leg for the better part of half an hour, or should I say multipule chicken legs I noticed as I looked down at my plate of bones.
I leaped up saying bye to Lily who was ignoring a James I hadn't noticed appear with his usual posse.
"Hi Remus, have you got Potions?" I asked, nudging Alexis who scowled back at me.
"Hey, yeah" He grinned, walking the other side of me.
I side-stepped so he was in the middle, with Alexis on his side and winked at her.
"Hi," she smiled at Remus, going pink again and stepping up her pace.
"Hey!" he replied, just as pink turning to see me raise an eyebrow.
"Oh wait, I forgot something," I said "You guys go on." I walked back a pace behind them, grinning.
Alexis turned around and narrowed her eyes, but she was laughing, I waved and she turned around, they were so cute!
It was then that I saw Marica, coming up the corridor on her own, I walked over to her "Hey, I didn't see you at lunch."
I shifted slightly, moving so her face wasn't visible to others, "Hi," She smiled slightly.
"Potions?" I asked, she nodded.
We entered the dark room and I looked around seeing slightly familiar faces, there was Severus he was a bit of an odd-ball that had a thing for Lily though he avoided her these days.
Me and Marica took seats near the front next to Alexis and Remus, Lily was at the back with James and Sirius.
"Hey Marica, come sit here," I heard Mulciber call, he was evil I knew that from his sense of humor and wondered what Marica had to do with him, then I remembered Avery, Mulciber's mean friend had a younger sister, my eyes-widened and I looked over at Marica to check it was true.
She nodded and walked over to them, Avery scowled at me and I turned around quickly, I really didn't have the guts to face him.
