Normani had barely sent the text when she saw Dinah come bounding out of the house like an excited puppy. she stood patiently at the top of her front steps with a huge smile on her face. Normani laughed to herself and climbed out of the car, taking her sweet time to get to Dinah. Dinah stepped back before Normani reached her so that the dark skinned girl could go up the steps. Dinah was still taller.
Normani had air for two seconds before Dinah was crushing her body with a hug. Normani of course reciprocated the gesture and wrapped her arms comfortably around the taller girl's neck. She breathed deeply in through her nose and waited for Dinah to make a comment but she didn't. Eventually Dinah released her but stayed the same distance away.
"Can...can I kiss you?" Dinah asked. Normani could hear the nerves in her voice.
"Please do," Normani said. Dinah bit her lip for a second before slowly leaning in. Normani got impatient and gently pulled Dinah's head to her lips. They both sighed into the contact. Normani was in heaven as she moved her lips against Dinah's. She had been waiting to kiss the blonde since they first met. Dinah eventually pulled back and just stared at Normani. Normani smiled and bit her lip, staring back.
"My god," Dinah breathed. Normani threw her head back in laughter and grabbed Dinah's hands before going in for another kiss.
a/n: HAHA LOOK I'M NOT DEAD. ok i actually just lost all motivation for this fucking story and then i started high school but point is it's finally an update. if you read my other current story i'm actually working on updating that too so stay tuned. i'm sorry for being so inactive i'm trying my best ok BYEEE ILY oh and i wrote this in august ISJSJSKW
