(The next day)
Jin and I were waiting for his brothers and my brother to arrive. I went to the front door when I heard the bell ring. Expecting one of Jin's brother or mine, I opened the door. But behind the door wasn't a human, it was a monkey, Jeon Jungkook. "Jungkook?" I startled. "Hello noona, Jin hyung called me and suggested I should join the picnic." he said, barging in and headed for the kitchen where Jin was.
"Jungkook, you're here." Jin gave him a quick hug. "Wah, kimbap!" he awed at the lunch boxes Jin made. "You don't have work today?" Jungkook asked. Jin shook his head, "It's Sunday, Jungkook ah. And stop eating them, save it for later." Jin quickly closed the lit of the boxes and packed them.
After a few minutes Jungkook arrived, Hobi arrived too. He was dancing his way through the living room as if he moved his school here. "Stop dancing," I threw him with a pillow from the couch. "You lost your memories but you're still annoyed when I dance." he crossed his arms and sat next to me. "Everybody gets annoyed from your hype Hobi!" I hit his arm.
(at Namsan Park)
Jungkook and Taehyung were running around the park while Hobi and Namjoon were just talking. I was lying on Jin's lap while the sun shone on my face. "You're like an angel," Jin giggled while pinching my cheeks. "Aish, you too are so disgusting." Hobi complained. "Shut up and get a life," I rolled my eyes. "My life is dancing!" Hobi announced and started singing Despacito and danced with Namjoon. "I take that back!" I yelled but it was too late.
Jin laughed as he poked my nose, "You're too adorable when you quarrel with your brother." he said. "I'd prefer your brothers, Jin oppa. I meant Namjoon only, not that monkey." I pointed at Taehyung who was still running around with Jungkook like a bunch of kids. After a few minutes, Jungkook and Taehyung ran out of energy and came back to eat.
"Here," Jin handed out the kimbap boxes as the boy started to gobble the food like they've been starving for days. "Slow down," I said, patting Jungkook's back. Suddenly Jungkook's phone started ringing. He quickly drank water before picking. "Yoongi hyung!" he screamed. The Yoongi guy? My eyes caught Jin frowning a bit but quickly changed back into a smile.
"Of course, of course. Why didn't tell me earlier?" Jungkook childishly complained. He paused to listen Yoongi talk. "Alright, see you tonight hyung. Of course I'll bring her." Jungkook obediently nodded. What does he mean by see you tonight? Is he in Korea now? On top of that, when Jungkook said I'll bring her, who's that "her"?
"Noona, Yoongi is back! He came back here as soon as his work was done! He's dying to meet you. Jin hyung, you wouldn't mind if we stole her for one night, right?" Jungkook pleaded with puppies eyes. "Before ten, that's the limit." Jin said reluctantly. Jungkook nodded and hit my arm excitedly. "I can't wait for the trio reunion!" he exclaimed. "Me too," I flashed a smile at him.
(After the picnic)
"Back before 10, okay?" Jin glared at Jungkook who was busy talking selfies with Taehyung. "Yes! Yes!" Jungkook rolled his eyes and pushing me into the cab. I rolled down the window as Jin leaned in to plant a soft kiss on the forehead. "Take care," he said. I nodded obediently.
Finally we arrived at a huge house, just like Jin's but a bit smaller. "We're here," Jungkook announced, paying the taxi driver. "Are you not gonna get off?" Jungkook poked me. Snapped out of my sense, I nodded.
We walked into the gate, slowly making our way to the front door. "Jungkook," I stopped him by grabbing his wrist. "Hmm?" I took a deep breath, "How is he like?" I asked nervously. Jungkook returned a don't-worry look. "You'll do just fine." He patted my shoulder.
We finally got to the end of the path. I was centimeters away from the front door. "Hyung!" Jungkook yelled. Assuming how Jungkook didn't even bother to hit the bell, we must be pretty close.
Suddenly the door opened, behind the wooden doors stood a guy with mint hair. Upon seeing me, he grabbed my hand and threw me into his embrace. "Eunji ah," he cried while squeezing me tightly. So indeed, he is VERY friendly to me. "I can't believe it's you," he parted and squished my cheeks. "You're real!" he danced around the room like an idiot.
Last time I searched up his name on naver, he's known for his cold attitude. What is this? "Hyung, she probably thinks you're a clown right now." Jungkook laughed while heading for the living and dived onto the couch. "Right, I should be normal." Yoongi hit his head and pulled me to the living room.
I noticed the picture frames on the shelf. It was pictures of the three of us. "You want choco?" he asked. Confushed what he meant, I gave him a what-do-you-mean look? "Back in high school, your mom never let you drink coffee, remember? So we always lie to her we're going to eat chocolate and always went to drink coffee." Yoongi excitedly explained. He dashed to the kitchen and came back.
"Try this," he said, handing me the cup. I nodded and took a gulp. It wasn't like any of the coffee I had before, the taste was so special I widened my eyes. "Why is it so good?" I asked before drinking more of it. "Of course it has to be. There is only one place you can get that coffee, the corner ahjumma shop. We used to live in the same street if you don't remember," Jungkook jumped out the couch and snatched the coffee from me. "Mmm, it's so good." He said after taking a gulp.
"But it had to shut down because there were no customers. Yoongi hyung posted the shop on SNS and now the business is booming a lot. He did it all for you because you cried a lot when ahjumma said she'd be shutting down. So you see, sometimes Yoongi hyung loves you more than your boyfriend does." Jungkook was just teasing, I know. But it wasn't even funny.
"Stop it!" Yoongi hit his head while Jungkook laughed and shook it away.
Somehow... again without explanations... I felt so comfortable being here.
Somehow... I feel like I'm going to screw things up.
