It's been months since Lily has heard from her Mum. And now it seemed like months since she's talked to her father, who was always scurrying around the house frantically trying to figure out a way to get his wife back home to him. Lily had a weird feeling in her gut whenever she saw her father hope and try to get her back.

"It's been too long Dad.. She's probably moved on..." she would think to herself. Every time that popped into her head, a tear would trickle down her smooth face, and down onto her lap.

One morning while her father was working on a way to time travel again, Lily found herself isolated in her room, buried in her bed, covered in memories. She closed her eyes, trying to close out the noise of her father, and the noise of her past screaming at her. It was no use, her father would be singing, and there would be loud clashes of pans falling down in the kitchen from him running into them, followed by cussing, some might have been made up.

With a sigh, she sat up in her bed, and the bed creaked in sympathy as she did so. Her tired eyes slugged around her room. Lightly scanning various pictures, awards from horseback riding, Led Zeppelin posters, her guitar, and her desk. Like a sloth, she slowly crawled out of bed, her little bare feet were warm against the cold floor, causing her to flinch a little. As she inched closed to her desk, her bedroom door flung open with a sudden burst, causing her to jump and scream. Her father's head poked through, he was out of breath, but smiling as wide as he could possibly smile.

"Lily, wanna go to Uncle Bonzo's?" he asked still out of breath. Lily's face lit up as she eagerly nodded her head.

"OK, well get dressed then sweetie, and wear some play clothes, you and Jason will probably play outside on the farm." he said with a smile as he gently closed to door.  Once the door was closed, Jimmy leaned against it and exhaled deeply, and looked down in his hand at the glowing guitar pick necklace, and smiled.

"Soon.. So soon love." he said in a whisper.

Lily quickly opened her dresser drawers, and dug for a pair of blue jeans, and a tee shirt. She dug past multiple shirts with horses on them, some with jewels on them to make her shimmer. She passed multiple summer dresses that her dad gave to her for her birthday last year, she swam through her ocean of Led Zeppelin tees, and just decided to grab one. Finally at the bottom of the abyss of clothes, she found some blue jeans, and ripped them out. Once she was finally dressed, Lily packed up her guitar, threw it on her back, and ran.

She ran down the stairs, her long, wavy auburn hair flowing behind her. The acoustic guitar awkwardly moving with her. Lily quickly threw on her riding boots, and ran out the front door to meet her dad in the car.

Her guitar was in the back, and Lily was out of breath in shotgun, next to her dad. The car shuddered as her father started it up.

"Bringing your guitar I see?" he asked Lily. Lily nodded her head.

"Me and Jason like to practice some of your songs. I sing and play guitar, and he just hits stuff." Jimmy giggled, "Just like his Dad, huh?"

"So , why am I going to Uncle Bonzo's? Are you guys having practice?" Lily asked as she looked at her dad. He flicked his long waves of hair away from his face, revealing his emerald eyes.

"I've just got some things and things to go see and go get..." he smirked when he finished his sentence.  Lily slowly nodded, and looked out the window at the passing country side.

Before she knew it, she was on her Uncle's farm, and her best friend was running and waving at Lily. She smiled brightly  and waved through the window.

"Dad just let me off here, or do you  need to talk to Uncle Bon-"

"Ok good idea, bye Lil." He abruptly stopped the car, causing Lily to jut forward quickly. She jumped out of the car, grabbed her guitar, and walked over to her father's side of the car, and gave him a kiss.

"Bye Dad!" she yelled as she and Jason ran back towards the house.

Jimmy sat there in silence and smiled. The glow from the necklace became brighter.

"Soon Lil.. you'll be saying goodbye to both of us.." he then put the car in reverse, and left his daughter unknowing behind him, determined to get his wife back.
