Jimmy stood tall with a smile on his face as he looked at the faces of his fellow band mates and his daughter.
"Who's ready to get her back?!" he yelled happily, holding his fist in the air.
The boys all cheered and Lily clapped and jumped up and down. They all held lily flowers gently in their hands. Jimmy placed the necklace in the middle of the tight circle, and picked one petal from everyone's flower, and drew a moon out of them.
The whole house began to shake, and everybody grabbed each other's hand.
Then it was quiet. It was too quiet.
Jimmy opened his eyes, and saw that they were just outside her room. He found it odd though to see the door closed, with no lights on from behind it. He stood up wearily.
"Emily?" he said with a nervous smile. He neared the door, and his heart began to race as he placed his now shaking hand on the handle. He drew back, and spun around to face his friends and daughter.
"Something isn't right."
Jonesy stepped forward to the door, and his eyes became watery.
"Do you guys smell that?" he looked around at them, his vision now blurry from the tears.
"It's blood... I smell fucking blood James!"
Jimmy's expression dropped, and he ran to the door, and flung it open.
His heart stopped when he saw her lifeless body lying there in a pool of blood on her floor. Jimmy began to weep, and ran over to her. The blood squished and bubbled underneath his feet, and began to seep from the carpet. He flipped her body over, and saw that her eyes were still open.
"Emily.. Emily PLEASE!!" he began to shake her. Her body would just follow his every movement with dead weight. Jimmy kneeled next to her, feeling the now cold blood soak into his jeans, and held her cold body close to his warm one. And he began to cry. His violently shaking hands found their way through her coarse hair.
"James..." Robert said softly, holding back tears. Jimmy looked over at him, with his eyes watering, and tears rolling down his face. His heart sunk even more when he saw a piece of paper in his hands. Robert walked over to him, his face turning white when his foot stepped in the pool of blood, making a squishing sound. Robert handed him the piece of paper, and ran into a corner of the room and began to gag and sob at the same time. Jonesy rushed over to him, and rubbed his hand up and down his back.
Bonzo and Lily watched all of this in horror.
"What have I done.." Jimmy said almost in a whisper. Robert slowly turned to Jimmy, with his pale face soaked from tears. The room fell silent.
"My heart was torn between you two.. I couldn't do it.." Jimmy wiped the tears from his face.
"Thanks for the crazy ride and lighting up my life Jimmy Page.."
A small sob was made from Jonesy.
"Signed Emily.." Jimmy looked down at his dead wife, and into her blue eyes. His long fingers stroked her face before he closed her eyes. It fell silent in the room, besides the occasional sniff from somebody.
Suddenly, they all heard a bicycle bell, and a vibration. Robert looked over on Emily's bed, and saw her phone. Confused, he grabbed it, and looked at the screen. And there was a message from him.
What do you mean goodbye?!
Emily I'm coming
Robert looked down at the corner of the message, and saw that it was sent over 10 minutes ago.
"He could be here at any minute.." he said nervously. Everybody's head shot up when his voice echoed up the stairwell.
"Emily?!"
Jimmy lost it again, and began to sob. His sobs of loss poured down the stairwell, and flooded Alex's ears with it's tales of mourning. His footsteps came thundering up the stairs, and down the hallway. He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw the boys, Lily, and Jimmy holding Emily in his arms, with tears cascading down his face.
Jimmy looked over his shoulder with puppy eyes, then looked down at Emily before he laid her back down. When Jimmy stood up, the coldness from the blood on his knees hit his skin, causing his stomach to turn. The colour left his skin, and he became dizzy. His feet began to sway, and Robert and Jonesy quickly grabbed each of his arms, guiding him to Emily's bed. All Jimmy could do was watch him through his blurry vision.
He looked down at her body, and the lake of blood surrounding it. He slowly walked towards her, and grabbed one of her wrists, and flipped it over. His eyes studied the deep wound that showed the insides of her now cold arm. Now with sobs taking over his body, he placed the arm down, and flipped her neck to the other side, and saw her blood stained neck, with a deep crimson cut deep in her neck.
"Oh Emily.." he squeaked. His warm hand wrapped around her cold hand, and he gingerly lifted it up to his lips, and kissed it.
"Al.." Jimmy whispered. He looked up, and saw that Jimmy was holding a piece of paper. He stood up, shaking his head, and instead of taking the paper, he threw his arms around Jimmy and hugged him tight.
Jimmy threw all his hate away for this man, and held him close, and wept with him.
