The morning followed too soon. The sun's warm rays shone through the dusty blinds, and onto the warm bed. The birds sang their song of happiness in the breeze, while distant neighs of horses were heard. Emily slowly fluttered open her eyes, and smiled. The covers waved as she turned over to face her loving husband. A small chuckle escaped her pink lips as Jimmy let out soft snores that seemed almost tangled in his ocean of wavy black hair. She leaned forward into him and rested her head on his skinny shoulder. Her copper hair combined with his black hair to make a tangle of colours. Softly, she traced letters and shapes on his bare chest as he slept away. His chest slowly falling and rising. She was in a trance, butterflies tickling her stomach, until she heard something in the hallway.
She dragged herself out of the comfort of her bed, and flinched has her warm feet met the freezing wood floors. Her ankles cracked as she walked slowly towards the door. Her head slowly emerged out into the hallway. And she couldn't believe what she saw. Her heart seemed to stop, and the colour from her skin washed away. He quietly called her name as he weaved down the hallway, looking in every room. He finally turned his head around his shoulder and saw her. She held her hand over her mouth to keep her from screaming as he ran towards her, and scooped her up in his arms.
"Alex.. Wha.. What are you doing here?!" she asked in a panicked whisper. He smiled as he flicked his blonde hair from his face as he smirked.
"Because I needed you baby. Life without you has no purpose." he leaned in a kissed her forehead. She squirmed from his arms, and she limply grabbed his hand, and led her down the wall at a slow walk.
"Pretty nice house he's got." he said. Emily hung her head lower and whispered to herself.
"Pretty nice house we've got..." She stopped at a door, and looked at him with sad eyes as she turned the door handle to reveal Lily's room. Alex walked in, and stopped instantly when he saw Lily sleeping in her bed, caccooned in blankets.
"What the.. Who is THAT?!" He asked in a raised whisper. Tears began to trickle down her porecelin cheek.
"That's Lily Alex... She's... She's my daughter." her eyes casted downwards as she watched her tears grow into a lake on the floor.
"Is Jimmy the-"
"AGH YES! YES HE IS ALEX! I LOVED HIM BEFORE I LOVED YOU. HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO LOVED ME BACK. HE WAS THERE FOR ME. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW YOU!" she yelled.
***
Jimmy sprang up in bed as he heard yelling. His eyes shot over to her side of the bed and saw it abandoned. He sprang out of bed and ran down the hall to see her shadow from Lily's room, and someone else's shadow too. His pace quickened, and as approached the doorway, all he saw was that man with his hand over her mouth to keep her screams muffled as a bright light flashed. He jumped for her, but all he could do was watch her disappear.
He lost her again.
His tears hit the wooden floors like bullets. But anger built up inside of him. This time he knew he couldn't do this alone. He needed something strong. He knew what he needed.
Led.

Hi, sorry for such short chapters. I'm swamped with HW, and one of my horses is dying now, along with one of my bunnies :(
That and writers blocks are bitches.
