**********Creed's POV**********

The only thing I could tell you is that I secretly had a crush on Lilly. It was to be expected from me to keep it a secret. I guess you could say it was love at first sight for me. It all started when he, my father, and my sister came to West Virginia. I was basically ripped away from my old life back in New York. But all of that changed when I started the first day of my sophomore year.

I knew absolutely no one at this school. My father dropped me off and drove away without a "Goodbye," or a "Have a great day." That's how it was. I knew my father loved me and my sister sister, but he never showed it. I walked into the school and to the front office.

"Um. Hello," I said nervously while looking around the office for someone, anyone, to answer my questions.

"Is anybody here? I need to get my schedule" I walked to the desk and just stood there, waiting.

Finally, a middle-aged woman popped out of nowhere and went to help me.

"Oh. You must be the new student from New York. Keith? No that's not right. Charles? No that's not it either. Carl?" The secretary went on with the list of K or C boy names.

"It's Creed. Creed Cornwall. I came here to get my schedule," I said before she could continue.

"Oh yes! Here it is. I will call someone down to show you around." The secretary left to go make a call to my first-period class.

After a few minutes, a girl with brown hair and blue eyes came in and started to talk with the secretary and the principal who just showed up. I was stunned. I was suddenly consumed by this feeling I got when I looked at this girl.

I have never ever had a girlfriend, even less been in love with a girl. But I knew what this feeling was and it was love, or so I thought. I wasn't about to admit it though. I guess I was just that kind of person, shy and isolated. The most highlighted feature of Lilly however, was her eyes.

They were an icy blue color with specks of a light green in them. He absolutely loved the color blue, no matter what shade it was. He just fell in love with her eyes and everything about her even though he literally just met her.

I could honestly go on for days about her eyes, and how beautiful they are. But first I had to get back to reality.

I snapped back to reality and noticed that I was walking with Lilly. My body was just kind of walking on its own. I had no recollection of what had happened in the principles office. Much less the exchange that got me into the situation. Lilly went on and on about how stupid the school was. I finally intervened her rambling with a question that had been bothering me since we started this whole tour.

"Why exactly do you call it Hell? So far I like it here." I said it while thinking of all the possibilities that could happen after the final word came out of my mouth.

After what happened, I deeply regretted ever saying anything. I just made my first crush run away, fuming with anger. I walked up the nearest staircase to try to find my next class on my own. It took me only a few minutes to find the class. I walked in later, just as the teacher was getting ready to speak.

"Excuse me, where am I supposed to sit?"

The teacher looked over the classroom and decided that I would be sitting beside Lilly. 'Wow, of all those empty seats, she picked that one! I think she hates me now. I don't know. Feelings are so confusing!!!! Ugh! I hate this,' I groaned as I got to my new seat.

The teacher handed us these HUGE ass packets and told us to finish it by the end of the period. I looked through it. The questions weren't that hard, mostly stuff from freshman year.

I finished right after Lilly. When I came back to my seat, I gave Lilly a little smile and a wave. 'I can't believe I just did that! What has gotten into me?!' I thought as I picked up my book from inside my backpack.

The book that I held in my hands was called The Prox Transmissions. It was a book published by the lead singer of STARSET, Dustin Bates. I was absolutely in love with the band and couldn't help but fanboy about it.

I looked over at Lilly again and caught her looking back. 'If only she liked STARSET, too.'

I turned back around and continued reading until the bell rang which meant class was over.
