Hurricane's Oneshots (REQUESTS OPEN!!)

Accidental Bruises: Patton x Virgil.

Trigger Warning: Cuss words. Also this can be a father son type of thing or romantic, you're choice.

Of course he didn't do it on purpose, he's not that messed up.

Virgil sat in his room listening to music, and due to the overly hot weather recently he didn't have his hoodie on. But he was listening to music and as normal he was hitting his forearm to the beat of the song.

It always happened and the dark persona didn't really notice it. But he did this time, he pulled back his hand after 5 or 6, ok more like 20 songs and he has givin himself a nasty bruise.

"Fuck." He mumbled. 'Its fine I can cover it with makeup.' He thought and that's what he did, he took out his make up and covered the bruise, it didn't make it completely disappear but it made it look only a fraction as bad.

"Kiddo! Time for dinner!!" Patton called up the stairs. "BE DOWN IN A SECOND PAT!!" The younger trait yelled making sure the make up wouldn't move.

Anxiety walked out of his room, almost running into a few walls and downstairs, the other 3 traits were waiting for him, ever since he revealed his name the others have really accepted him.

Virgil took his normal seat right by Morality. They all started eating. "Oh, Guys, I should inform you all there is the chance of a hurricane." Logic said and almost as if it was a work of fiction (heh heh yeah.......fiction) the power shut off.

"Great." Virgil sarcastically remarked. "It'll be fine kiddo, I'm sure it'll be back on soon, I'm just concerned how we will deal with the heat." Patton said placing a hand on Virge's back. "I'm sure we will be fine Pat, after all I was expecting such thing to happen and stocked up on necessities, like water, food, and batter packs, mainly for Virgil's phone." Logan said with a nod.

All the traits made sure they always were capable of charging Virgil's phone incase he needed it for music. "Thanks Lo." Virgil said. The logical trait simply nodded.

By the time they all had finished eating, it was getting hot, even Princey had given up on wiping the sweat away from his brow. Anxiety had forgotten about the bruise except when he leaned against it and winced, each time catching Morality's attention.

"Are you ok, Kiddo, you keep wincing." Patton had asked at one point. "I'm fine, just hot" Virgil said brushing it off. He turned away, his bruised arm outwards and the dad didn't wait a Second to grab Virgil's arm pulling him towards Patton.

"If you're fine what is that?" Patton said an upset that Virge didn't tell him. "It's just a little bruise." "LITTLE, Anx the bruise is the size of you're hand, what did you- did you do this to yourself." The dad trait asked.

"Pat it was an accident, I didn't realize what I was doing while listening to music and punched myself." Virgil said wanting to get away. " One punch wouldn't do that, that's gotta be some work!!" Patton said. "It happened over the course of....20 songs?"Virgil said guessing.

"That's like an hour bud. Do you know how bad that could be?" Patton said, pulling the smaller trait closer to examine the bruise. Virgil shrugged. "It's swelled, bad. I'm sorry I didn't notice it. Go sit on the couch and put your arm on the side, Now." Patton said using a dad voice to make sure Virgil did as requested.

Virgil sat on the couch arm on the side of it waiting for the unnecessary amount if care he was about to receive, as he sat down the power clicked on. Patton came back with an Ice pack and put it on the bruise carefully. "Keep that arm elevated and iced. Actually." Patton sat down. "I'm staying right here with you."

And he did. After an hour or so Anxiety's arm was fine. "Thanks Dad I love you." Anxiety said. "Love ya too kiddo." Patton responded.

After that day Patton made Anxiety take a break from music every 15 minutes and attempt to keep himself from punching his body. Virgil hated it, but went along with it to please Patton.
