You threw the rest of your bags into the trunk of your car. "There. Finally done." You sighed happily, closing the trunk of your car shut. You headed inside to say goodbye to your parents as you were headed from your hometown in Vermont all the way to a small town in North Carolina called Garner. The best part of the whole road trip? You were spending it with your best friend.
After saying your goodbyes to your family, you drove the ten minutes to your best friend's house to pick her up. She piled her bags into the back with yours and hopped in.
You were finally on your way to Garner!
You've wanted to go to Garner ever since you heard of Scotty McCreery, the winner of American Idol Season 10. You've been a huge fan of his and one of your many dreams was to meet him. And that's where you were headed; to his hometown in hopes of seeing him there.
After the 13 hour drive there, you needed to use the restroom BADLY. So you pulled into the nearest grocery store and ran inside to use the bathroom.
As you made your way out of the bathroom, you decided you would buy you and your friend some snacks. You grabbed a box of crackers and when you turned around, you accidentally bumped into someone. "Oh my gosh! I am so sorry!" You said as you bent down to pick up the box of crackers that fell from your hand.
"It's totally okay." A familiar male voice said. You looked up and almost fainted. Standing in front of you was the one and only Scotty McCreery. "Oh my gosh! I know you! I love you so much!"
"I hear that often." He laughed as you blushed, suddenly embarrassed by your outburst.
"Don't be embarrassed, it's cute when girls recognize me. What's your name, love?"
"Tiffany."
He smiled, and then grabbed your hand, scribbled something on the back of it, and smiled. "Call me sometime, Tiffany." He winked, and then proceeded down the aisle, out of your sight.
You couldn't wait to tell your friend what just happened!
