'He's so cute.' You kept thinking to.yourself while staring at your crush.

Your crush however was your best friend, Scotty McCreery.

You've been in love with him since grade school. You couldn't help it though. He was just too darn attractive.

The only problem with the whole thing was the fact that he has a girlfriend; actually its fiancee now. Gabi is her name, and you can't stand her. It's not jealousy, it's the fact that you're suspicious of her.

You sighed, and turned your eyes away from him. What you needed was some fresh air.

You decided to take a walk in the park across the street. You needed to think. There was no way Scotty would ever love you and even if he did, it's far too late now.

Just as you were about to start walking the trail, you heard the bushes rustling. Curiously, you walked closer and heard giggling. Familiar giggling.

You peered through the bushes and saw a guy and a girl. They were half undressed and seriously making out.

Startled, you jumped back. You were about to walk away when you realized you knew the girl.

It was Gabi. And the guy wasn't Scotty.

You ran back to Scotty's house where the engagement party was still going on.

You burst through the door and ran right to Scotty.

"Where's Gabi?" You asked him.

"She said she was going to run to the store real quick."

You needed to tell him. "She lied. She's not at the store. I went out for some fresh air and I saw her. At the park across the street in the woods. She was making out with some other guy. I swear. I'm so sorry, but I needed to tell you."

His face fell, then he turned angry. "Gabi would never do that." He said through clenched teeth.

He didn't believe you. You needed to show him. "Please, follow me. I can prove it to you."

Not taking no for an answer, you grabbed his hand and dragged him to the park.

You told him to stay quiet and he carefully peeked through the bushes. You heard the pop from his mouth dropping and he back away.

"You were right." He whispered, no emotion in his voice.

"I'm sorry." You whispered back.

"No, I'm sorry. You warned me all along and I didn't believe you."

Suddenly his mood changed. He burst through the bushes and started shouting. You ran back to his house, not wanting to be a part of it.

Scotty came back ten minutes later. His eyes were red and he quietly dismissed everyone, telling them the engagement was off. You were sitting on the couch, knees curled up to your chest.

After everyone left, he sighed and threw an object at the wall.

He must be really broken. He's never been violent.

He walked into the living room and calmed down when he saw you. "You're still here..."

You just nodded.

"I am so sorry I didn't believe you. I can't believe it took this happening for me to realize who she really is."

You stayed silent as he came to sit down next to you.

"We were going to get married. I had everything planned out for us..." He whispered. "She ruined everything!" He began shouting, tears flowing down his cheeks once again.

Cautiously, you placed your hand on his shoulder and scooted yourself closer to him. You rubbed his shoulder gently with your thumb, trying to calm him down. "Shh...everything will be alright. She's not worth your tears. You'll find the one for you one day. Don't cry." You whispered, tears beginning to run down your cheeks.

He looked up at you. His eyes were on your eyes, looking at you. He wiped your tears away with his thumb. Suddenly he pulled you onto his lap and kissed you passionately.

It was unexpected but absolutely amazing. You kissed him back, your fingers running through his hair.

After what seemed like forever, he pulled away. "I'm sorry." He whispered.

"Don't be sorry." It was time to confess. "I've been waiting for that kiss since middle school. I've been in love with you ever since. I just couldn't tell you because you're my best friend."

He laughed. "You should've told me before I proposed to that monster." He tucked your hair behind your ear gently and whispered, "I'm in love with you too. I can't believe it took me this long to realize."

He smashed his lips to yours once again.

Wow. Sorry it's so long. I just got carried away.

I'm crying now. Byeee
