Hwa Young's POV

"Hwa Young ah," Hoseok came closer to me, printing a soft kiss on my forehead. "What are you doing?!" I blurted. "You're my best friend!" I exclaimed, pushing him away. "What are you talking about? You're my girlfriend." He said, pulling my hand once again.

"Wake up, Hoseok already arrived." My mom hit my head, forcing me to wake up. I snapped out of my weird dream. "What the hell," I hit my head and jumped out of bed. I put on a sweater that was on the floor and tied my hair into a bun.

"It's not even washed!" My mom scolded. "It's just Hoseok mom, not a guy." I complained. I glided myself to the living where Hoseok was playing with my little brother. Suddenly my weird dream snapped into my head! I was dating my best friend in it!

"Hwa Young ah, we're going to be late because of you." He glared at me. I forgot to set my alarm. I promised him I'd follow him to the carnival. "Then shouldn't we be going now instead of playing with lego?" I rolled my eyes. Hoseok and I quickly went out of the door.

We walked until the main road to get a taxi. "Hoseok ah," I said while waiting for a cab. "You have never considered me as a girl, did you?" I asked, avoiding all types of eye contacts. "Pfft," he laughed. "Then I would be criticizing how you're reckless! You're wearing a pair of different socks." He laughed.

"What!" I squealed and looked down. I indeed was wearing totally different socks. "You should've told me earlier!" I exclaimed. "Just get in already, we're late." He pushed me into the cab that pulled by the sidewalk.

"Aish, Jung Hoseok, I prefer the you in my dreams." I unconsciously said. "In your dreams? What am I? A handsome optimist?" He said, laughing. "Ew, you, er, just forgot it." I put on my earphones, trying to change the subject but Hoseok pulled it off.

"What am I? Be honest, Hwa Young. You think I wouldn't know if you're hiding something?" He narrowed his eyes. "It's just a stupid dream, makes no difference whether you know it or not." I said, sending my eyeballs outside the window.

"Then you shouldn't have a problem telling me about it." I could tell how serious he was just by the look on his face. "Alright," I sighed. "I dreamt you were my boyfriend." I mumbled. Hoseok was stunned, he looked at me like he never did before.

"I told you it's a stupid," I said, putting back my earphones on. Hoseok spoke nothing and just looked out the other side of the window. We finally arrived at the carnival. Hoseok paid the taxi driver as we hopped off.

"You're still not thinking about the dream , are you?" I teased, half wanting to release the tension. "What, no, I'm just-" he paused and pulled me, spinning me around I landed into his embrace.

"Watch where you're riding!" Hoseok yelled at the motorbike that was about to hit me. The motorbike ignored us and drove away. "Are you okay?" Hoseok cupped my face and checked if I was okay. I nodded, "I'm fine Hoseok, you didn't need to yell at him." I said. "He's about to hit you, idiot." He sounded worried so I gave him a small smile.

"Hoseok hyung? Hwa Young noona?" We both heard our names. Behind us was Taehyung waving at us. "I can't believe it's you guys." He excitedly squealed and came closer to us. "You're alone?" I asked. He shook his head and pointed at the car park, "Jin hyung drove me here." He answered.

Kim Seok Jin, my ex boyfriend and Taehyung's brother or you can just call him Prom King, like everyone else does at school.

"Speaking of the devil," Hoseok rolled his eyes when he saw Jin hopping out of the car. "Hello kids," Jin stylishly stuffed his car keys in his pocket. "Hey, Hwa Young." He said, winking at me. I flashed a smile, "Uh, hi."
