Ji Young's POV

I didn't like moving, at all, especially into a new family despite my mom being there. I was about an inch away from the front door. Inside, my mom and ahjussi would be probably on the couch, enjoying their time. My hands were hesitantly placed on the door knob as someone poked me. "What are you doing in front of my house?" a voice scared me.

I turned around to see a teenage boy with brown hair looking at me suspiciously. "H-hi," I said, trembling. "I didn't say hi, I asked what are you doing in front of my house?" he raised his left brows and scanned me from head to toe. "I was-" then I was interrupted when the door opened. Behind it was my mom.

"Honey, you're here!" she hugged me while pulling me inside. "So you're ahjumma's daughter?" the guy rolled his eyes while coming inside and put his car keys on the counter. I nodded my head while looking around the new house. I had to admit it was big and luxurious. "Jagiya," ahjussi arrived and wrapped his hands around my mom's waist.

"Eo, Ji Young has arrived?" ahjussi flashed a smile. Of course, I didn't want my mom to remarry but this was her happiness so I couldn't stand in the way. Besides, ahjussi is not too bad after all. "Ne," I bowed while moving the luggage into the living room. "Meet my son, Jungkook." ahjussi said, pointing at the brown-haired guy who was about to go upstairs.

I looked at him who seemed annoyed of my existence. "Well, he'll show you around the house and your room because your mom and I have to go to the passport office unfortunately for our visa issues." ahjussi frowned. Me? With him? "Ne?" I startled. "Don't worry, I'll take a good care of her." I noticed the end of Jungkook's lips curled up into a smirk.

"Alright honey, I'll see you at dinner." my mom patted my shoulders and she took off with ahjussi. "So... what's your name again?" Jungkook slowly walked up to me. "Yoon Ji Young," I answered. "Well, your room's upstairs, Yoon Jin Young." he said. "Ji Young," I corrected him, rolling my eyes a bit.

"Whatever," he huffed. "I'm gonna go play game so suit yourself." he turned to the stairs and went up like he didn't heard what his father said. Helplessly, I had to carry my luggage up the stairs. By the time I got to half way, my hands hurt too much I had to take a rest. As much as his father is nice and kind, his son is a jerk.

"I should help you there," a voice startled me. I turn around to see a charming guy, looking like a prince carrying my luggage all the way up. "T-thank you," I said, shyly tucking my hair behind my ears. "I'm Jimin... I haven't seen you before." he said, endlessly darting me death stares. "I-I just moved in." I stuttered.

"Ya Jimin hyung, you just came in? Have some manners!" This idiot has to ruin when the time's good. Jungkook strolled through the hallway to us while giving me the get-lost-seriously look. "What? Is it a crime to enter my uncle's house without notice? Besides, I live here." he said and gave Jungkook a fist bump. He's Jungkook's cousin?

"Temporarily," Jungkook rolled his eyes. I was standing there like an idiot, no idea where my room. "Stop standing there, idiot. Your room's the one at the end of the hall." Jungkook said while pulling Jimin away into his room. Great, how much I wished Jimin and Jungkook switched their places.

I pulled my super heavy luggage all the way down to the end of hall and found a room with a pink door. Once I entered, I was welcomed by an extravagant room with prolific interior design. "Oh my god," I gasped as I ran and laid down on my huge pink fluffy bed. I love everything about this place except Jungkook of course.

(a few weeks later)

I settled in, pretty good. It was a relief the prince-looking Jimin would be staying here a few more months before moving to Italy for university. I am preparing for university in a few months except I have to live here because the campus is just a few minutes drive away. I didn't know if Jungkook will move out but I really hope he does.

It was about time for dinner as someone came and knocked on my door. I went to answer it and behind it was Jimin. "Hey, ahjumma said dinner's ready." he said. "Alright, give me a second?" I asked, quickly dashing to my study desk and turned off my laptop. "Wow, your room is so fancy." he said, unintentionally seeing my pink wall.

"Yeh, I don't know how came up with the design but it's pretty cool." I said while closing the door behind me and proceeding to the staircase with Jimin. We finally arrived at the dinner table where Jungkook was already eating before the adults. He rolled his eyes when he saw me sit down. I don't like you either.

"We're going on a trip next week so I just wanted to make sure I can trust you guys." my mom announced. "Yes, it's a business trip so it'll be about a month." ahjussi continued. I frowned, how am I going to survive? But Jungkook seemed so happy, he's finally getting his free time. "Ne, aunty and uncle, you can trust us." Jimin nodded his head. "Of course mom, we have Jimin." I smiled at her.

"With or without you guys, my life is my life." Jungkook abruptly said. "Jeon Jungkook!" his father glared at him. "Oh remind me what my mom used to say," he paused for a while. "Oh no, you forgot what she said because you're having so much fun with a new wife. Mom never liked speaking during dinner nor making announcements. She always did it in the living room because she doesn't want to lose appetite and now you just made me lose my appetite." Jungkook slammed the table and left. "Jeon Jungkook, come back here!" ahjussi yelled but there was no response. "I'm sorry," ahjussi held my mom's hands. "It's okay, let's take one step each." my mom returned an assuring smile.

(After ahjussi and mom left)

It was Sunday but unfortunately Jimin went on a hangout so it was just me and that jerk. I headed for the kitchen as I felt a bit hungry when I ran into Jungkook who was drinking the orange juice. "What? Have you not seen someone drink orange juice? Particularly, someone hot?" he smirked. "Ew, no. I'm just wondering how ugly you could be." I ignored him and opened the refrigerator.

Suddenly a pair of cold hands grabbed my wrist and pinned me on the wall. "Say that again," his husky voice whispered into my ears. Our faces were too closer, I nervously shut my eyes tight. "I said, say that again." he sounded impatient. "Let me go," I kicked his lower part and dashed away. "You're such a jerk!" I yelled.

He was suffering in pain he couldn't even speak. I ran back in my room and locked as soon as I got in. I was panting from running a lot. I went to my laptop, trying to see if Jimin was online but he wasn't. I couldn't call him since I left my phone on the counter earlier. Suddenly I heard the door knob twisted. The door literally opened but I surely locked it!

"You thought I wouldn't know where they keep the room keys?" Jungkook came in. I angrily threw my pillow at him. "You're an idiot Jeon Jungkook! You're obviously angry your father married to my mother and letting out our anger to me! You know what? I don't want my mom to marry your father either! But they're happy, so I have to be too." I yelled at him.

Magically, his face turned into a blank, unable to read. "My father left my mom when I was young. He was an asshole! Your mom was too! Your mom cheated on your dad! You've got to admit it. Stop being so childish!" I raised my voice, maybe too much.

Then I saw droplets of tears streaming down his cheeks. "I-I didn't mean to hurt you," I softened my voice back to zero. "You're right.. I just... I just didn't want to seem weak." he sighed. "Hey, look at me," I said, grabbing his wrist before he could leave. "Everyone have scars in their life but talking to someone will clear all the burden you've been bearing. Talk to me, alright?" I asked.

He pulled me into a hug, a very warm hug. My head buried in his chest. "Thank you, Ji Young." finally he called me correctly.

I didn't plan to write it this long but I'll just end it here. For those who that want a sequel to this can comment down~ I'll do it if I get five comments.
