No one's POV

It was just another tiring day for Kim Haneul. Getting into Seoul of Performing Arts wasn't her wish. Her wish was only to meet her parents again, who died in a car crash 7 years ago. Since then, she developed a depression disorder. She would often lock herself for hours, going into deep thoughts.

The only thing that kept her alive was Kim Taehyung, her boyfriend. Taehyung and Ha Neul were dating since they were in middle school, a few months before Ha Neul's parents abruptly died in a car accident. Ha Neul would always ask for a break up but Taehyung always refused it, claiming that he needed her but actually it's the other way round, she needed him.

She was sitting in the school cafeteria while waiting for Taehyung. "Sorry it took you so long. I had an assignment to hand in." Taehyung flashed her a smile as he sat next to her. She nodded and continued writing the song she was trying to compose. "Jagiya, should we go to Byeonsan Beach this weekend?" Taehyung suggested, trying to brighten up her mood which he has failed to do the past seven years.

She sighed and shook her head without saying anything. She didn't want to be like that too but whenever she tried to smile, she'd always think of her parents and it just made her miserable. She always appreciated Taehyung's endless effort to make her happy but she just suck at showing it to him.

"Please jagiya, eo?" he pleaded. Ha Neul put her pencil down and turned to Taehyung. "Alright, as you wish." she nodded. Inside, she also wanted to be happy and she knew Taehyung is the only one capable of doing it. "I'll pick you up tomorrow morning." Taehyung patted her hair. "Hmm, don't be late." she said in a dead tone. "You're so adorable, do you know that?" Taehyung squealed, pinching her cheeks and stamping a peck on her forehead. "Not in public," She groaned, pushing him away. "Ahe, arraseo, arraseo." Taehyung playfully giggled.

(Arrived at Byeonsan Beach)

Ha Neul's POV

Taehyung and I were able to rent a sea-view room since my uncle owns this hotel but we both didn't share the same bed. I rested my head on his shoulder while he slowly stroked my hair. I've always loved him and always appreciated his love and it's the whole reason I shouldn't be a burden to him. My disorder has been ongoing for seven years and even the doctors had given up.

My wish is seeing my parents again but my wish for Taehyung and I to be a happy normal couple is just as important. He had sacrificed a lot for me. While getting a chance to enroll to a better school overseas, he chose Seoul Performing Arts, just to be with me.

These years, I've never told him how thankful I was to have him. I just didn't have the courage nor the words I'm supposed to say. So I just stayed silent, hoping he can read my mind. His gentle strokes on my hair always helped me to relax. I closed my eyes while concentrating on the strokes.

"Are you already asleep?" Taehyung asked. I just shook my head. "Just a second, I actually prepared something for us." he slightly lifted my head before standing up so that I wouldn't drop. He went to take his guitar and came back. He sat in front of me and started playing a slow song.
