Chapter 13

I was super tired by the time we got home, I almost fell asleep in ERyRys car

"We're here Ivy, c'mon, let's get you back to your daddy" Ryan says, picking me up and carrying me inside

"is my baby sleepy?" daddy coos ,taking me from ryan, who kissed my forehead, then left. Daddy fed me a little bit of fruit, and took me upstairs for my bath. He let me have a bubblegum pink bath bomb

"Dada, i too tired" i whine as he tried to wash my hair

"baby, let daddy finish, I'm almost done" he says, taking the cup and shielding my eyes before washing the conditioner out of my hair. He got me out and dressed into a stitch onsie, he braided my hair and carried me to bed, turning out the light and turning on the little mermaid. Daddy kissed my forehead,

"sweet dreams babydoll" he mummers, and that's the last thing i hear before i'm out.

~Devins POV~

Ivy was so fucking cute when she slept. She scrunched up her nose when she was dreaming, and sometimes, her legs would move like she was running in her dream, and it was so cute. nonetheless, i had to leave today.

"ivy, babygirl. Daddy has to leavE" i say

"nu-uh! Daddy no leave" She screams, still half asleep.

"hey, baby. it's okay. I'm only gonna be gone for three days, I'm taking you to uncle Josh! you get to help him around the shop and play with the doggies!" I say

"no. no no no no. daddy can't leave, it's not allowed" she says, crossing her arms over her chest.

"im heeeere" josh sings. i lean over the bed and plant a kiss on ivy's lips,. she whined, knowing that i had to leave to go on this trip.

"NO! NO NO NO! YOU CAN'T LEAVE" Ivy screams, josh comes bolting up the stairs, ivy had her arms tightly around my waist ,and she didn't show any sign of letting go.

"baby, i have to go" i say,

"no!" she screams, Josh pries her arms off of me, and i bolt down the stairs, her chasing after me. I was out of the driveway by the time she got outside.

~Josh's POV~

"i've never seen her this bad before" i tell CC. CC and Ivy were really close, closer than the two of us were.

"What did Devin do before he left?" he asks.

"He spent most of his time with, he said it would be easier for her to deal with im being gone that way" i say

"That's not good, she has RAD" CC says

"What the fuck is that?" I ask

"Reactive attachment disorder, that's why she got so upset with him when he left,because she has a problem letting people go when she needs to, that's why she is a little, because her daddy can't leave her unless it's for good" cc says. Thinking about it, that did make a lot of sense.

"what do i do?" i ask. There was a long pause before he spoke

"I'll be there soon, just ,don't go near her, it'll upset her more" he says,

"alright, thanks" i say, hanging up.

~20 minutes later, Ivy's POV~

I was mad at daddy, he left me! he abandoned me and he wasn't gonna come back, was he? i don't even know anymore, sometimes having RAD sucks.

"ivy?" a soft knock was on the door ,the voice belonged to someone i really wanted to see, but i was upset, there was a long pause before the door opened then closed, CC walked in and sat down on the edge of daddys bed. He laid down next to me and pulled me to lay on his chest

"daddys a meanie" i mummer

"Awh, don't say that, he had to go" Cc says

"but he lead me on" I say.

"he thought that would make it easier for you, he didn't know" CC says

"he knows about my RAD" she says

"i know he does baby, but he doesn't understand it fully, not like i do, you should have a big girl conversation with him when he gets back" cc says. as much as i hate to admit it, he's right. Daddy and I need to have a talk about all the things that are wrong with me

"CC, is there something wrong with me?" I ask

"no, not at all doll, you just have a lot more baggage than most girls do, but that's what makes you special. You're different, and everyone loves it. I do, your daddy does, your uncle's love it." he says

"how's ash?" I ask

"he's good, being a little ass per usual, trying to keep his purdy perv act up every tour" cc chuckles

"be nice, he;ll find the right girl" i say

"i doubt it, he's come close several times, but he always throws it away" CC says, that reminds me of my last daddy, he was always cheating on me and never really nice like a daddy should be, anytime someone else messed up and his work, he would take it out of me, i got punished for everything.

"awh, baby. don't think about him, he was an asshole" he says. I nod. we sit in a comfortable silence until i fell asleep.
