Chapter Five- Breakfast

Jaiden's P.O.V

I woke up on a bed filled with blankets and pillows in an unusual
room. The pictures on the walls are me and several of my friends from middle school. Maybe this is Tony's new house?

I got up and walked around exploring when I heard someone cooking downstairs. I walked to the kitchen to see James cooking. He couldn't see me coz he head was facing the opposite side concentrating on cooking. My heart beat faster second by second as I watch my man cooking. I need to get outta there. Now.

But before I know it, James turned around and his eyes locked into mine. The butterfiles rose so hard my stomach feels like its on fire. I started at James before running away towards the door. I sprinted across the backyard when a car almost ran over me.

"Jaiden wait!!" James yelled as he grabbed my wrist. Him touching me makes my heart exploded with fireworks and insantly memories flooded onto my face again.

"let me go" I mumbled as I removed my wrist from him.

"Stay. At least for breakfast..." He whispered deeply.

"Fine. Only for an hour."

"I have a lot of explaination to do, babe."

"Don't babe me." I said as I walked into his house.

I have no idea when or how, but I ended up sitting in James's dining room.as he served breakfast and drinks for us. He sat down right across me and for an actual moment my heart melted.

"Jaiden, I..."

"Hold up there James. I have a boyfriend."

Oh my god, I can't believe I just said that.

He softly bit his lip before continuing.

"Look Jaiden, I know that you are heart broken but I was a jerk back them and now I have changed. I built my own animation company after I moved away and it's now working for TV shows just because I need memories between me and you. And I know you hate me but can we at least be friends?"

Friends? YES TOTALLY YES I WILL DUMP TONY AND LET'S START OVER.

Is what I WANT to say.

"Sure. Let's keep in touch. But that's all."

Is what I ACTUALLY said.

Ughhhhhh, I can't believe I just turned down my Prince's order.

I can't even look into his eyes when I said those words coz I will go blind. His eyes shine more brightly than the sun. My heartbeat will go faster than the speed of light if I even dare to make eye contact. I slowly started eating my breakfast but almost threw up. James never changed. He was still as bad as cooking as I used to remember.

My eyes widen as I started to chew coffee and I immediately spit out the coffee when I started as my plate. The eggs were burnt. And that also goes for everything else.

"You trya cook dog food?" I teased.

" I got another unburnt egg and it stuck to the pan. Forgot to put the oil."

I sighed as I got up and when to his fridge and get milk.

Never forget those times we baked cookies. Almost burnt down the house.
