Third Person's POV:

Mrs. Lee calmly reads a book beside her daughter's hospital bed.

But with the beeping sound of the machines, she's a little bit distracted.

So she put the book down, and looked at her daughter with a sad smile.

Mrs. Lee's eyes are looking so sore. Bloodshot and teary. She cries before going to sleep. She excuses herself to the comfort room too much because she gets sudden anxiety attacks. And when the bathroom door closes behind her, the tears come too.

This was how these past few days were for her.

Because her daughter, whom she loves so much, is facing a battle and she, as her mother, can't do anything about it.

She was very loving indeed. Gives her kisses before she leaves for school or elsewhere. She is kind and considerate, and was never a pain in the ass for anyone.

She never deserved any of this.

There's a faint sound of knocking heard from the door.

Grandma comes in slowly, taking little steps.

"Aigoo, our Mina." She whispers with her weak voice.

"She's going to be fine." Mrs. Lee says. "Is there anything you need, eomma?"

Grandma gets something from her bag. A rectangular shape that as is a little bit bigger than the size of her palm-- Mina's phone.

"Oh." Mrs. Lee takes it from her hands. Pushes the on button with her right thumb, but it won't open.

"Its battery is drained." She says.

"I guess so." Grandma smiles a little.

Mrs. Lee takes a charger from the side table and plugs the phone in. It automatically displays a battery with an energy symbol.

"There we go." She puts it down and leaves it there.

"You know what?" Grandma sits next to Mrs. Lee, who looks up to meet her eyes.

"When she first came, she has brightened the whole village with her presence. She made people happy, and respected everyone." She smiles, just thinking about it.

Mrs. Lee smiles too, and stays silent.

"But at night, i hear silent cries, and sniffs of despair. She's trying so hard to hold up, to continue, to fake her smiles." Grandma's grin turns upside down. "And as her grandmother, I'm upset with myself that I can't even do anything."

Mrs. Lee hugs her crying mother, sharing tears with her too.

--
It was seven in the evening, and three days since the boys left for Seoul. Almost a week since Lee Mina in coma.

Mrs. Lee walks over to the wall outlet and takes her daughters phone. She's surprised to see that there's no password or security code needed to unlock it.

It's because she's got nothing to keep from anyone.

Mrs. Lee saw unread messages as soon as she tapped in the messaging icon. She just scrolled through.

Messages from the first day Mina left for here. It was when she left without telling anyone anything.
