Mina's POV:

"A duet?!" I unintentionally shouted.

"Shh." Mr. Ha placed his index finger on his lips, shutting me up. I waited for him to speak again.

"Wow. You look surprised. Jinyoung was too." He commented. What?

"Jinyoung?!" I shouted once more, unintentionally of course.

"Could you stop shouting? We might disturb classes, Lee Mina."

"Sorry." But a duet? With Jinyoung? "I already have a solo performance, sir. Are you sure you'll pick me?" I asked, trying to avoid his gaze.

"I need to pick the best student, Mina. And that's you."

"But-"

"Just say yes! I only have you!" My eyes widened. I was surprised by Mr. Ha's shouting.

I face palmed.

He looked quite embarrassed. He lowered his voice down a bit. "Sorry."

I mentally rolled my eyes. He's just as stupid as I am. It's sad yet funny.

I think it took around 3 more minutes of nagging and convincing before he got me to say yes. I have nothing to do anyway.

"Do well and practice a lot okay?" He said as soon as I was about to leave. I nodded and bowed to him before I left.

I checked my wristwatch 2:30 in the afternoon, it says and I still haven't ate a proper meal since this morning. I'm hungry ugh.

With a growling stomach, i went back to where the others were. They were still talking on the stage. So, i went up to them.

"What the actual hell?" I shouted.

All their heads turned to me, surprised.

How could they? How could they eat such delicious food without me? I want to cry. I feel so hungry.

"Hey! Don't cry. Jinyoungie here ordered the same menu for you." Jackson said.

"What? Really?" I shot my head up.

"Yeah, actually, we were planning on waiting before you get back so we can all eat together but you were taking too long. Sorry, Mina." Bambam stuffed rice in his mouth.

"No! Its okay. As long as there's food." I smiled.

"Here, Mina. Eat up." Jinyoung handed me my food.

"Thanks. I'll eat it well." I flashed a smile.

I opened the lunchbox. And whoa.

Its chicken! There's kimchi too! It smells so wonderful. I want to cry again.

"If it's not enough for you, we can still go buy more." Jinyoung said that made us all cheer.

I was touched. Even though he knows that I'm mad at him, he would still look out for me and take care of me in the simplest things. That kind of makes it harder for me to stay mad at him each day that passes by.

I can't blame him. He doesn't even know why I'm acting this way towards him. And yet, he still cares. I admire him for that. He's not the type to avoid someone who kept staying away from him. Instead, he wants to make peace.

I went back to reality and realized that I already finished my food. After eating, we all went back to practicing.

I decided to not practice just yet. It was just a few minutes ago that I ate. I don't wanna get indigestion. So, I followed the seven to where they were going to practice.

"Oh. Mina, you won't practice?" Mark asked.

"Maybe a little later. I wanna watch you guys." I said.

"Sure and watch out for our mistakes." JB told me.

"Okay." I replied.

"You can sit over there." Youngjae pointed his index finger to the chair right beside their music player and speaker.

I nodded and went to where he said I should. I quickly sat on the chair and glanced at them.

They were fixing their formation to start. JB leads them naturally.

JB looked at me. Signalling to play the music. So, I did.

2PM's 10 out of 10 started playing and they danced immediately.

I watched them carefully. They dance well, I thought. It was well organized and every single one of them had a serious expression.

The song ended and I applauded them.

"So, how was it?" Jinyoung asked.

"It was okay." I simply answered.

"'Okay'? You looked like your breath was taken away." Yugyeom said.

"Okay fine. It was wonderful and I'm pretty sure you guys are gonna steal the show with this performance." I smiled.

They flashed smiles as I complimented them. No kidding, it was really great to watch.

-

Hours passed by in a blur, and I ended up not practicing at school. I helped with decorating though. That's okay.
I wanted to practice at home anyways.

I'm fixing my bag. Everyone is rushing to go home and rest, some already left.

Before I knew it, I'm already walking home. Mom should be there by now. I should tell her about the fest. I'll ask her if she wants to come. Then, I'll give her a pass from Mr. Ha.

I still haven't had a word with Jinyoung after we knew about the performance we're supposed to plan together. I actually have no idea of what to suggest. We still have 2 more days and a week. I'll talk to him about it some other time.

If you're wondering where the seven are, we where supposed to stop by the park first then hang out, but I noticed that they're too tired. So, I told them to stay at home and rest. They live together anyway.

I arrived at home and slid my key inside the keyhole of the gate, I did the same opening the main door. I went inside.

No lights are open. Windows are closed, and everything was looking the same as I left this morning.

"Mom?" I shout.

Yes, you can call me stupid because there's no one inside, obviously. But I was just making sure.

As if on cue, my phone rings. I look at the caller id to see that it's mom.
