Chapter 21 Thinking

~Leahs POV~

I feel complete. Shawn actually asked me out last night. They guys already know. Magcon is ending soon and I don't know what's gonna happen.

I was again, alone, here, at the hotel.

The tour is almost over and I'm a little upset. I don't want to say bye to all my best friends.

Exept Carter I tollerate him. I'm still pissed at him but I'm happy with Shawn.

When I think about all this it makes me upset. Shawn lives in Canada and I live in crummy North Carolina. Of course I miss my mom and all but, I'll miss Shawn. He's like thousands of miles away from my house to his.

Wait a second. I just realized that I came here cause Carter invited me. What if the next time he doesn't invite me.? I'm not all famous like them so I can't come on my own. I have to have someone escort me.

I gotta stop drowning myself in my thoughts.

I hear pattering of feet on the floor outside my door. Soon Shawn walks in. He greets me with a warm smile. I return the smile.

"Hey Lele" He says with a smile

"Hey Shawn" I say giving him a weak smile.

"What's wrong Leah. I know something's up, so spill." He says with care.

"Before you got here I was thinking about how Magcon is ending soon and I won't see you." I started to feel a lump in my throat.

"We can keep in touch-- and even facetime!" He said trying to lighten the mood.

"I know. But next time Magcon comes around I can't come." My voice is soft

"Why not?" He asked confused

"Because I was invited by Carter. Now the we're-" I make hand gesture about us not being together "-I have no way here. I can't come here unless I have an invitation." I say simply

The words trail in his head, leaving a calm silence.

"I'll figure out something." He says getting up and heading to bed
