“What is it Abigail?” Noah said as he ran into the room. My hand shakily pointed to the note that I dropped on the ground. He bent down and pick up the note, he cursed as he read the note. He looked back up at me with a blank expression on his face, I looked at the ground where the note had dropped. Blood stained the floor from the note, if there was blood on the floor than he must still be near here. I looked back up to see that Noah had vanished, I slid off the bench and walked out of the kitchen I heard loud whispers coming from Noah. I walked over to where he was but remained hidden as he spoke.

“ She can’t learn how to fight.” Noah said in a stressed voice. Silence came before he finally spoke again.

“He said that it was a last resort for her to learn how to fight, there must be another way.” He hissed into his phone. I heard a muffled voice come out of the phone before I heard Noah groan and make his way towards me. I ran into the kitchen and sat back where I was before. He walked in 5 seconds later and made his way over to me. He took a deep breath and looked me in the eye.

“You are summoned to start your schooling at the N.E.S.A.S.” He said to me. I looked at him dumbfound and started violently shaking my head from left to right.

“No, I wont leave. Jay ne-Where is Jay? If he is hurt, I swear to God…Arg!” I yelled in frustration as I ran into the lounge room. Anger was boiling inside of me as Jay wasn’t laying on the couch.

“You.” I said pointing my finger in Noah’s direction. “Are going to tell me where he is right. Now.” I said emphasizing the last two words. Noah glared at me and I glared right back.

“You can’t know and that is final.” He said with annoyance growing in his voice.

“Oh no way is this final” I growled at him. I didn’t wait for a response, I just walked up the stairs to my bedroom. I locked the door behind me and walked out to my balcony. I spread my arms apart and lent on rail.

The sun had set ages ago and the moon was beginning to rise. Clouds drifted in front of the sun, blocking out the light it had given. It was a full moon tonight making the farm light up from the light rays. The trees around the house rustled in the wind. Unconsciously I started to shiver from the cold, I wrapped my arms around myself trying to stay warm. I pulled my arms away from my body when I felt something sticky on my shirt. I grimaced as I thought about all that had unraveled today. Jay in a coma, Seth not being where he was knocked out, the police being killed, Seth cutting my wrists. My head spun around and black and red dots appeared in front of my eyes. I leaned forward to grab the rail to steady myself. My breathing became ragged as I breathed in an out trying to regain balance and sight. Slowly I made my way down to the ground, I pulled my knees to my chest and sat my head on them. I looked up at the stars, daddy is one of them. He will tell me what to do, wont he?

I don’t know how long I sat there but I knew that it was time to leave when the moon had reached its peak in the sky. I got up and walked towards the balcony door. I turned the handle and pushed the door open. It didn’t move. I tried again but it wouldn’t budge. I groaned in frustration as I made my way over to the rail. I grabbed onto a branch of the tree and pulled it to make sure it wouldn’t break. I stood over the rail and leaned into the branch. I climbed down through the tree until I got to the bottom and my feet hit the ground with a thud. I made my way to the front door and went to grab the key from in the pot. I put my hand in searching for it, but came out empty handed. I grabbed the pot and turned it upside down, soil fell out and so did a toad. I dropped the pot in surprise and watched it smash all over the ground. I heard footsteps coming towards the door and gradually the door started to open. Noah sighed in relief when he saw it was me, but that didn’t stop him from asking me questions.
