The hallway started to fill with people after a few minutes of walking. Noah pointed out some rooms as we walked to my dorm but I didn’t pay much attention. People stared at me as we walked into more of a crowd.
“Fight, fight, fight, fight.” Yelled some people standing around in a circle. Noah sighed heavily and looked over to James. He nodded his head and placed my bag on the ground.
“We will be back.” Noah said as he placed me lightly on the ground against the wall of a building. I watched their retreating figures as they made their way to the group. They pushed their way through the mob of people and went and stood in the middle.
“Everyone scram, if I see anyone else standing around here by the time I count to five there will be serious consequences…I repeat serious consequences.” James yelled. In less than three seconds the hall was empty, apart from Noah, James and the two boys they were restraining. The pulled the boys with them and they came back over to where I was sitting.
“Boys, both if you have detention for a week.” I heard Noah say just before he reached me.
“Abigail, this is Patrick Jones and Dylan Oxford. Boys this is Abigail Brown. She is starting on Monday.” Noah continued as he pointed to each of the boys. Patrick had black hair that nearly covered his bright green eyes. He had a small smile on his face and I smiled back. Dylan had blonde hair and piercing blue eyes that I couldn’t seem to look away from.
“Hey.” Dylan said smiling at me. I suddenly felt subconscious of what I looked like. I would look like a mess. I looked down at the ground and mumbled a ‘hi’
“Mr Daniels, would you like so help with Abigail.” Dylan asked.
“No…Actually yes that would be very useful. Mr Reed and I have a meeting to get to, and I am sure we are already late.” James said. Noah looked over to me, James and then Dylan and shrugged his shoulders.
“Her room is dorm forty-one. Once you take her there take her room place her bags in the in there and then take her to the infirmary and ask for Julie. Tell Julie that she has a stab wound on the right side of her stomach, a bullet in her right shoulder and she has twisted her left ankle. Got it?” Noah said, the two boys nodded their heads and Noah looked semi-relaxed
“Will you be ok Abigail?” Noah asked looking away from Dylan and Patrick.
“Yer I will be good Noah, you go to your meeting.” I said to him. He smiled at me and him and James started to walk off.
“Goodbye Abigail.” James turned back as he followed Noah.
“Yer, bye James.” I told him. I looked over to Patrick and Dylan and they had both their mouths hanging open.
“Guys, close your mouths you look like codfish.” I laughed using the same line I did on Noah and James. They shut their mouths and Patrick opened his mouth again trying to say something but no words came out.
“Those guys are the most strictest teachers in the whole school. How?” Dylan asked recovering for Patrick.
“Um, well one, Noah told me to call him Noah, James introduced himself to me as James and they haven’t told me to call them anything else. They don’t even seem strict. They have both been happy and nice to me. As for how, no clue.” I said to them. By now Patrick had picked up my bags and Dylan was looking at me.
“A pillow pet, seriously?” Patrick asked as he held it in front of me.
“My best friend gave that to me. He’s in a coma now and I don’t even get to see him, instead I got sent here.” I said quietly but loud enough for both of them to hear.
