Gabriel perched on the edge of his bed, humming softly to himself as he tried to sort through more of his boxes. Across from him, on the floor, Sam sat pretending to concentrate on an open text book as he watched Gabriel unwrap a new item from the nearest box.

"I'm so glad it's Friday," Gabriel commented, "It has not been a good week."

Sam rubbed his eyes and yawned. "I know what you mean."

"What do you say to going out tomorrow?"

"Sorry?"

"You and me. Tomorrow. We can get lunch or something."

Sam grinned. "Like a date?"

"If you want it to be," Gabriel stated, trying to appear casual as he continued with the task at hand.

"Okay, sure," Sam shrugged, chuckling when he caught Gabriel staring at him curiously out of the corner of his eye.

"Alright. One more question."

"I'm listening."

"About that kiss the other day," Gabriel paused before continuing, "What does that make us?"

Sam thought for a moment. He knew exactly what he wanted it to mean and he had a feeling that Gabriel was of the same opinion. There was only one thing for it.

Sam took a deep breath and said, quite quickly, "Gabewouldyouliketogooutwithme?"

Gabriel laughed. "Sorry, Samsquash, I didn't catch a word of that."

Sam sighed and tried again, this time more slowly. "Gabriel Novak, would you like to go out with me?"

"Hmmm," he pretended to think hard before answering, "Yes, I think I would."

"What are you doing?" Cas started at Elsa curiously as he entered the kitchen.

Dean had invited him over again so he could be introduced to Bobby, who was currently still out working, so the two of them had been sat together in Dean's room talking endlessly, until Cas had decided he needed a drink.

He had not expected to see Dean's younger sister.  Begin so used to a noisy household, her quiet had made him forget she was home.

Elsa was stood beside the counter wearing an AC/DC t-shirt she'd borrowed from her brother, softly singing Highway To Hell as she mixed strawberry milkshake powder and hot chocolate powder together in a mug. She then added milk and placed the mug in the microwave, turning it on for a minute and a half.

"I'm making a drink," she answered, smiling.

"You're making two drinks in the same mug," Cas pointed out.

She shrugged. "I wanted to try it."

She turned around as the microwave started beeping and took the mug out, stirring its contents with a spoon.  She added some honey into the mixture and took a sip. 

"Not bad," she smiled, "Want to try?"

"No thanks."  Cas helped himself to a glass of water instead, making a mental note to recommend the strange drink to Gabriel, as he had a feeling his brother would love it.
