Dean lay across the living room sofa, Cas stretched out on top of him, enjoying the fact that Boo was off exploring and no longer present in the house.

It had been several days since the cat had been brought home and Dean had opted to spend the majority of him time since either in his room or out of the house, where he was free from constant sneezing fits.

Cas, on the other hand, completely adored the creature and spent even more time at the Winchester residence than usual. Which worked for Dean: he loved having Cas over.

"Dean?" Cas lifted his head from his boyfriend's chest and looked him in the eyes.

"What's up?" He asked, shifting himself slightly, adjusting his arm so it was still secured around Cas' waist.

"Do you ever think about how we pass our death date each year without knowing it?"

"Uh," Dean chuckled softly, "I can't say I do."

"I do."

"That's a little morbid, Cas."

The Novak shrugged, evidently not concerned by this, and settled down again into Dean's arms, who planted a kiss on Cas' forehead and smiled to himself as he closed his eyes.

He loved days like this.

He loved moments like this.

Moments with Cas where he could just be. Moments that he could spend the rest of his life in.

No more than a couple of minutes later, Cas announced that he was hungry, and went in search of some food. Dean felt much colder without Cas lying on top of him, acting as a human blanket.

Reluctantly, Dean wandered into the kitchen.  "What you looking for?"

"I don't know," the Novak admitted, looking a little lost, "I'm just hungry."

"Well, how 'bout I make you something?"

Cas smiled.  "I'd like that."

"Sam Winchester you cheat!" Gabriel accused, as Sam scored his third hole-in-one of the evening.

"Nope," Sam grinned, "Just better than you."

Gabriel pouted.

It had been his suggestion for the four of them to play mini-golf and he had been expecting to win. He hadn't anticipated Sam's moose skills being of any use in the situation, but he had been wrong.

"We've still got a few more holes to go," Alfie pointed out, taking his turn, "Sam might not win."

The game had begun with everyone trying to beat each other but, as Sam had quickly proven to be the best of the group, it had then turned into a joint effort to try and sabotage him. This ranged from Elsa trying to be distracting by talking loudly every time he took a shot, to Gabriel trying to intercept his golf ball with his foot (and then claiming that it wasn't cheating because it was an 'accident').

Alfie had managed to work his way up to second and was now only a few points away from tying with Sam, or beating him entirely.
