Just us Then?

"Cas!" Dean laughed, pushing his boyfriend away as he tried to tickle him.

"What? You said you weren't ticklish!" Cas giggled, trying to get at Dean, who'd jumped over to the other side of the sofa.

"I lied!"

"Dean Winchester! How dare you!" Cas shook his head at the floor, pretending to be both shocked and disappointed.

The second the Novak looked away, Dean bolted round the sofa and headed for the door; Cas reacted quicker than he'd anticipated and tackled him as he passed, pinning him down with his own body weight.

"Get off!" Dean laughed, struggling as Cas straddled him, tickling under his arms and his chin.

"Can't hear you," he teased.

"Yeah, but the neighbours probably can — they'll think I'm being murdered!" Dean attempted, still squirming.  "They'll call the police!"

Cas paused for a moment, as if considering this; the Winchester used the time to try and stifle his laughter and regain the ability to breathe properly.

"Dean?"

"Yeah?"

"You don't have any neighbours."  Cas tilted his head slightly to the side as he looked down at his boyfriend.

Dean's face fell.  "Oh."

Cas burst out laughing, letting go of Dean as he covered his face with his hands, partially containing his giggles.

"Bitch," Dean complained.

"Assbut."

"What?"

Cas just shook his head, removing his hands from his face as he calmed down and stared directly at Dean, who was suddenly blushing and looking awkwardly around the room.

At first, the Novak didn't understand why.

Then he did.

Cas was still straddling Dean, who was still pinned to the living room floor. The Novak felt himself blush too, but decided to stay exactly where he was and drag the moment out a little longer.

"Did you say the others were out?" Cas asked, knowing exactly what the answer would be.

"Uh," Dean cleared his throat, "Yeah."

"So," Cas raised an eyebrow, "Just us then?"

It was ridiculous how nervous Dean suddenly felt; he'd always been the confident one, and now he felt weak at the knees, so it was probably just as well that he wasn't standing.

Cas smiled, leaning down and placing his lips gently against Dean's. The Winchester melted into the kiss, moving his hands to rest carefully on Cas' hips who, in turn, cupped Dean's face in his hands, leaning in further as he did so, trying to get as close as possible.

Slowly, the kiss became more heated, both of them trying to catch their breath without breaking apart.  An attempt which only succeeded for so long, before Cas pulled away, resting his forehead against Dean's as he refilled his lungs with air.

Both of them were breathing heavily.

Gently, Dean pushed himself up into a sitting position, shifting slightly so Cas could remain on his lap, his legs now wrapped neatly around Dean's waist.  This time, it was Dean who leant in, capturing Cas' lips with his own and running his tongue along the other boy's bottom lip, causing a moan to escape his mouth.

Dean smirked.

He took the opportunity to deepen the kiss, satisfied that he was finally able to do so. It felt as if he'd waited so long to do this, even though he'd only known Cas for a couple of months.

It just felt right.

Dean could feel Cas' hands dragging lightly along his back, reaching down to play with the hem of his shirt.  He shivered as Cas slipped his fingers underneath, hands now wandering cautiously over his skin—

The pair jumped apart as the front door slammed, voices suddenly sounding from the hallway.  They scrambled up, jumping back on the sofa just in time to smile innocently as Sam entered the room, Elsa tailing behind.

"Whatcha doing?"  Sam asked, looking between the two on the sofa.

"Nothing." Dean shrugged.

Sam leaned over to Elsa, still maintaining eye-contact with Dean, and whispered, none too quietly, "How much would you bet they were just making out?"

"Hmm," Elsa smiled.  "Ten dollars, at least."

Sam laughed, watching as heat started to rise in Cas' face.  Feeling just a tiny bit sorry for him, the new arrivals doubled back on themselves, Sam departing for the kitchen as Elsa headed up the stairs.

As soon as Dean saw how red Cas' face had gotten, he burst out laughing.  A laughter which turned out to be infectious, as Cas was soon joining in, his colour beginning to return to normal.

"Bobby will be back soon," Dean stated, getting up.

"Dean?"

"Yeah?"

"I still don't understand."

"Understand what?"  Dean asked, pulling Cas up from the sofa.

"Why you call your father by his first name."  The second he'd said it Cas started to regret it, he suddenly felt he was on dangerous ground.

Dean smiled sweetly and shrugged.  "I dunno, just do."

Cas was satisfied by this, but not at all convinced.  He was sure there was something else but decided, once again, not to push it.  Whatever it was, since it must be something, Dean would tell him in his own time.

Wouldn't he?

Sam, having heard the front door shut, walked to the window and watched as Dean started up the Impala.

"I hope that's not because we came home," he laughed, turning to Elsa as she descended the stairs.

"That would be rather rude of them," she agreed.

"D'you think Bobby got the wallpaper we chose?"

Elsa raised her eyebrows at the sudden change of subject, but said she thought that he probably had.

"Strange though," Sam commented.

"What is?"

"That he just decided to do the basement up now."

Elsa shrugged.  "Maybe he just never had the time."

Sam nodded, smiling slightly, but Elsa thought she caught something of a sadness in his eyes.  Before she was able to make certain, he had moved away from the window, and was no longer facing her.

"So," Sam picked up the remote that Dean had left lying on the floor.  "Movie?"

"Absolutely."

I apologise for the shortness of this chapter (it was kind of a filler), but I felt you all deserved a little more Destiel, complete with an interrupting Moose :)
