A life of freedom.

Were the last words of my father's letter as it echoed in my head again and again. My parent's sacrificed so much to set me free, yet I was bound to the chains of my blood. I was a Millenrai and I was destined to wear a crown. I can never betray my family and I'll become a queen of Millensh at any cost.

As soon as I kept the letter aside on the table, my hospital room's door opened and came in Calypso and her mother Mya Trystine, both of them wearing the same kind of worried look as they walked towards me.

It was Mya Trystine who spoke first.

"Kiara, How you're feeling? James told me about everything, hiding the secret from you wasn't our plan at all. But it was something James promised to your parents and he couldn't just break the promise as he loved your father and mother so much" explained Mrs Trystine as she held my hands in her.

"I totally understand Mrs Trystine-" I begin with, but she intervened "Oh no need of formalities Kiara, Mya is just fine"

"How about Aunt, after all that's what you're to me"

As soon as I said that Mya Trystine's eyes lit up in sheer affection "Nobody called me that, surely that title would be really astonishing to wear, but Aunt will do just fine" she gave me a gentle smile.

It was Calypso who came forward and hugged me "Kiara, I'm so glad that you're finally alright, you apparently made all the Trystine's boys all crazy for you. Dad, Arthur and Chris were literally chewing their nails worrying sick for you" said Calypso to which I chuckled "Were they?"

"Yes of course, they loved your father. Uncle Adam was the heart of the house, certainly they adored you as you too and I always wanted a sister so now we're being cousin's will certainly kick some ass out together of those both stupid boys"

At Calypso comment I smiled at her.

It felt so different; it felt so good to finally have a family.

A family on whom I can rely on.

"Now...Now...don't disturb Kiara with your entire talking Calypso, she certainly needs some rest" said Mrs Trystine.
