As soon as the lights starts to dim, talking turns into whispers. People on stage are tuning instruments and testing microphones once more before performance. The place is packed, so many are standing around the tables of people sitting with a glass of beer in their hand. There's something about this bar that's different. It's definitely not a club, there's no place to dance and it's not exotic or rowdy in here. But this bar feels just as exciting and energetic as one.
A young, gray haired male walks onto the stage and everyone starts cheering. "Thank you," he says and some ladies giggle just at the sound of his voice. "It's been quite a while since the last time I sang here. I've missed this place. This first song goes to the city I love most. This one is called, 'A Place To Be.'" I have to admit, his voice is amazing. He tends to sing high pitched notes but he makes it work, I think it looks good with his feminine frame. I think I can be a fan, but one song won't do it for me yet. So he moves onto his next song, "this next song is going to be a little bit slower than the last one, it's called, 'Nobody to Love.'" He sings softly, makes his voice gentle and calming. It really does soothe the heart. Maybe that's what he's trying to do, warm the cold hearts of those who have nobody to love? Because if so, it's definitely working for me. This guy has me trapped in his hypnotic singing.
"Hey, sir, hello? You alright there?," the timid guy sitting next to me asks.
"Huh? Oh, yeah I'm fine. I just spaced out for a second."
"Suga has such a beautiful voice."
   "Yeah, I think so too."

He gets back on stage after a short intermission and the crowd cheers again. "This is going to be my last song for the night. I hope to have more performances here. But for now, let's enjoy tonight with ecstatic energy and all happy intentions. I love this city and I love you all. Now let's get to rockin!" I was startled when the music came out suddenly. I didn't expect this tune to be so upbeat and fast, judging from his last two songs. But I like it, and I like this guy. Those ladies were right about this addictive feeling. He had me hooked by his second song, but this one is just as amazing. The way he twirls around on stage and has people dancing in their seats. It's like he has the crowd in his possession and can control their emotions. Jeez, if I'm going to analyze this guy so much I might as well tell him how great of a performance he put on. He has everybody on their feet, clapping for him, including me. He bows and thanks the crowd for coming then walks off. People start to walk out the bar, it's mostly the ladies and I think I know why once I see the same crowd of women from before all standing outside still. When I walk towards the door and step out, I spot him immediately as he's about to get into the car and drive off. I struggle to reach him through the persistent fangirls but I somehow manage, and grip onto the car door. "Wait!," I said trying to stop him.
   "Hm?"
"I just needed to tell you that was an amazing performance, sir."
   "Oh, thank you," he smiles.
"Hands off the door. We're leaving now. Back up sir," a bodyguard says to me and pushes me back. Before he closes the door, I see of glimpse of this Suga guy one last time. The face of a happy looking guy had a frown painted on. The door shuts, the bodyguard gets in the front seat, and I watch the car drive off. I wonder, why did that guy seem to be sad? I'm not personally bothered by the bodyguard, it's their job, but it didn't look like he thought that. I walk back into the bar and it's empty, except for the bartenders.
"Hey, hey, hey! This bar is closed, man. Suga already left. But you can come back tomorrow," the loud, buff guy from earlier says to me.
"Nah Bokuto, it's fine. He's a friend of mine, let him stay," black haired guy says to him.
"Since when were we friends? I don't even know your name."
   "I'm Kuroo. He's Bokuto."
"Guys, no more customers after closing hours," the scary-looking, timid guy from earlier says.
"It's okay, boss. He's my friend."
"I guess it's fine, you seem to be a nice guy. What's your name?"
   "Thank you, and I'm Daichi."
"I'm Asahi, the owner of the bar. It's nice to meet you."
We didn't do much talking after introducing ourselves because the bar had already closed which means no customers and time for cleaning up. I'm happy I got to meet them, they all seem like good guys to hang with. Does this mean I just made more friends? Fuck yeah it does. I just made one, maybe two, or hopefully three new friends in a single day.
