Setting Up a Date

I guess not cheers to a good tomorrow because my head and whole body feels like shit this morning. The hangover and puking was bad enough, and having to be a couple hours late to work didn't make anything better. To add to the list of complaints, my boss gave me another shitty assignment to do but he offered to give me a month to finish it. If me not getting in trouble for being hours late to work wasn't weird already, then this is bizarre.
So far things seem to be like the normal routine again. Well, my new normal. My old normal life sucked and was dead boring. This new normal is exciting and always has me looking forward to something the next day. If things are the new normal again then I should expect to see Kuroo at KurooKat, although that's iffy since it was closed yesterday.
Just as I thought, it's still closed. That's fine I can just go home.
"It's closed but that doesn't mean I'm not here," Kuroo says before I walk away.
"Jeez are you a workaholic like Asahi?," I ask and walk in.
"I mean I love my restaurant but I wouldn't go the extra mile of working on days I don't need to. There were construction workers here not too long ago talking out the situation with me. I don't even want to start so you'll have to hear about it later, my head is fucking pounding right now."
"Same here. Had a hangover this morning and ended up being late to work."
"Wow that sounds really fun," he jokes sarcastically.
"Yeah it definitely was," I joke back. "Hey, do you know if Suga is performing tonight?"
   "According to Asahi, yes."
"Isn't it too soon though? Like shouldn't he rest another day?"
"Haha look at lover boy over here worrying about his man he so dearly needs to see. But nah, Suga works too hard to even get a single day off. He's the type to consistently work towards what he wants and won't stop till he gets it. Better be prepared because he might do that with you."
   "What do you mean?"
"If he likes you, he's not going to stop till he gets what he wants. Like he won't stop flirting and teasing you till he knows for sure that you've fallen in love with him." Hearing all of this and thinking about him makes me uncontrollably blush, and I know it because my entire face feels hot. The thought of Suga being such a tease sounds so attractive, and I haven't seen all of it yet. It has me waiting on this guy, and truthfully, I think I'd do the same as well.
"Ok stop with the fantasizing dude. Do that while jerking off or something."
   "Kuroo!"
"What? Oh my god maybe you are a teenager if you're really going to get flustered over someone saying 'jerking off'. Never mind about that, what's the plan for tonight? Besides jerking off."
"I'm not going to jerk o..! Ugh whatever, whatever, whatever, let's discuss the plan. Wait, a plan?"
"You're going to do the same lame shit and run away for a fifteen minute talk?
"Well what else would I do?"
   "Bro literally anything. You're adults."
"Weren't you the one who said that Suga works too hard to have the luxury of a day off?"
"One night won't hurt, I'm pretty sure he'd be down to do anything too. I'll even check with him to see if he's doing anything after tonight."
"I'm not sure what we'll do but I'll have it figured it by then. I have all day to think."
"Okay, sounds good. Surprise him and I'll hear all about it tomorrow."

He locked up the restaurant and we both went separate ways. I need time to think of what to do. Honestly I'm a little bit clueless right now, there's a lot of pressure on me. It sounds like we're setting up a date and if it is a date, then it has to be special right? But what does he like to do? What would he think is special? With his busy life in the music industry, I don't even know what he has or hasn't done. Karaoke seems tiring, he'll have to be singing again. Bowling is a weird first date if you're in your mid twenties. A fancy dinner seems way too sudden without any before notice. Is running around at night really that lame? I mean it's almost becoming our thing. Maybe he's looking forward to something more than just running to my apartment. We could still walk along with the city lights till we get tired. It's simple but for now, I think taking it slow like this will be a good idea. I'll need help from my friends though, I have a whole plan set up now.

"You guys, I need help," I say barging into the bar once Asahi notices me at the door.
"What? You couldn't come up with anything?," Kuroo asks.
"Come up with what?," Asahi then asks.
"A plan for Suga and I to be together tonight.... like a date."
"Ooooh my man! Go get it with Suga, lover boy!," Bokuto yells from the back.
"I have everything set up I just need your guys' assistance. Kuroo, as lame as it is, I don't have much planned for tonight. I want to stroll around the city with him so we can talk and after that I'll set up a proper date. Continuing though, after his show ends, he gets in the car and drives off. This time, I want you guys to convince his bodyguard to let Suga have the night off and tell him he'll be with me. We can associate a deal if he wants to like trade something or pay him. After he agrees, he'll take Suga to the car after performing but drop him off to my place. From there, I'll take care of the rest."
"Easier said than done. His bodyguard is tough to get through but it's all worth a shot," Asahi reassures.
"And what if one part of the plan goes wrong?," Kuroo questions.
"I think we'll be fine, I have high hopes for tonight."
   "Whatever you say lover boy."

"Good news, he's cool with it. Although one thing is going to change. He doesn't trust you walking back home without Suga just to have him meet up at your door. He thinks you're planning a murder or something so he says he'll be taking you and Suga back to your apartment," Asahi tells me as soon as Suga performs another great show.
"Thanks, I'll be going now. Tell Kuroo and Bokuto thanks as well!," I say while walking out of Crows and immediately meeting up with Suga. He smiles at me and takes my hand to lead me into the car. The whole ride to my apartment was super awkward and completely silent. His bodyguard doesn't talk much unless he needs to and there wasn't even music playing. Thank god I didn't live that far away because I don't know how much longer I could've stayed in that car. I open up the door and lend my hand to help Suga out the car like a gentlemen should do. He smiles and softly says, "why, thank you." We walk up to my apartment to get jackets and freshen up or use the bathroom, but both of us are so eager to go and spend the night together. So I grab a jacket hanging by the door and we leave right away, seeing his bodyguard still outside.
"It's fine. I'll be okay. You can drive back and tell him I'm busy. I'll deal with him later. I can take a bus home," Suga tells the bodyguard. But who is 'him'? Who's this guy Suga's going to deal with later?
"That's extremely dangerous. I refuse. Does this man have a car you can use?," the guy asks and Suga turns to look at me as if he's asking the same question.
   "Yes, sir, I do."
"Fine. Anything happens to Suga, you'll be in some trouble you wouldn't want to deal with. Take care of him," the bodyguard says sounding like he's Suga's parent. I tell him yes and he drives off.
"Cmon, let's go!," Suga says to the beginning of a great night.
