As expected, I got a cold and woke up late. I call work and tell them I won't be there today, and then I see I have a missed call from Suga. I'm not sure if I should text him or try calling him right now because according to all his friends, he's a pretty busy guy. But if you miss someone's call, you call them as soon as possible, right? I hope he answers though.
"Hello?," he answers his phone.
"Hey, Suga! Sorry I missed your call earlier."
"Oh no, did you get sick from last night? You sound under the weather."
"It's nothing, just a cold, I'll be fi-"
"-so sorry, but yeah if you want me to make it up to you, I can come over and help you get rid of your cold," I hear him say with some parts almost breaking up. I'm a little bit shocked about his request, I'm sitting here thinking of an answer. "Daichi? You still there?"
"Yeah, sorry. The call is kind of breaking up. But sure, I'd love that."
"He wants to see you. Meet him at 2:00 and no later," I hear his bodyguard say in the distance. There it is again, this mysterious guy they refer to as 'him' and not by a name.
"Gotta go, but I'll see you tonight. Bye, Daichi!"
"Bye, Suga."
I just woke up so I'm not motivated enough to get out of bed but I know I have to. I make myself a simple breakfast of hot tea and toast. The apartment is all tidy up still so there's not much to do except finish my drink and take some medication. On top of being super tired, my medication made me drowsy which lead to me taking the longest nap of my life. I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing, it's Suga calling.
"Hello?," I say trying to sound like I've been awake this whole time.
"Hey, just letting you know that I'm still coming by and that I'll be there soon."
I rush to go get ready and make myself look the least shitty as possible. I brush my teeth, get changed, bring a blanket to the living room, and start making some hot tea. Suga sends me a text to tell me he's outside, I check the door and invite him in. I don't recognize the car I see parked outside so I assume he drove here by himself and that's his car. I go back to the kitchen for the hot tea and end up getting a scolding from Suga.
"Daichi! Go lay down, let me do this!"
"It's fine, it's just hot tea."
"Then at least let me carry it to the coffee table and we can sit on the couch together."
He takes the mug from my hands and leads the way to the couch. We both sit down, side to side, being so close together. He tells me about his day as I sit back and listen to him go on about work and difficult people he's working with.
"Yeah, same stuff that happens everyday. But it definitely got better as soon as I came here," he says turning to face me.
"Glad to hear that," I say sitting up to be closer to him. He puts his hand on my shoulder, both us slowing going in for a kiss, until my stomach ruins the moment and growls really loud.
"Hahahaha! Are you hungry? Did you eat anything today?"
"Only toast."
"Daichi! Honestly how do you expect to get better? I'll go warm up some soup for you," he gets up and walks off to the kitchen to make me soup. I could do all of this on my own but there's no point in telling him that if he's here to help me. Besides, I like seeing him want to take care of me, even if all I have is just a cold. "Soup's done!," he notifies me as he walks to the couch with the bowl.
"Thank you," I finish the soup in one whole swallow, I guess I was hungry. "Want to watch a movie? We can put something on while we drink our tea." We decide on a movie and get all comfortable as it begins to play. I'm leaning back with my arms stretched out along the couch and laying on top of the blanket. I see Suga shivering and ask if he's cold. He cuddles up next to me and I wrap the blanket around us as he rest his head on my shoulder. Im barely paying attention to the movie at this point, I'm too focused on how great this moment is. I could stay like this throughout the entire movie.
Suga ended up falling asleep on my shoulder. I tried so hard to move as least as possible, I didn't want to wake him from his rest after a long day, and I didn't want to ruin the moment either. When the movie ended, I tried to look down at him, and his hair tickled my nose so I sneezed and accidentally jerked his head up.
"Shit, I'm sorry Suga, my bad, are you al-," I got interrupted from his phone ringing. He answered the call and said it was time for him to go. We walk up to the door and say our goodbyes.
"I hope I was of some help today. Sorry I fell asleep. Make sure you get better tomorrow. Do you think you'll be alright?," he says and puts his hand on my forehead.
"Yeah, all thanks to you," I take his hand and move it from my head to lean in for a kiss. He takes his other hand and puts two fingers on my lips.
"Thank you, I'm glad to know that. But you're still sick so no kisses for now. We have plenty of time to do all that and many more later," he removes his hand and kisses where my lips touched his fingers.
No kisses for now? We have plenty of time to do all that and many more later? All that and many more? This guy is giving me way too many things to look forward to I can't keep up. I have to be better by tomorrow. The faster I get better, the more time I have to hangout with everyone at Crows, tell Kuroo about everything that happened so far, and "do all that" with Suga.
