Today may not be so shitty. I haven't heard anything from my boss and I actually had a normal day today at work. Nobody enjoys working but I can honestly say work was good today. This mood I'm having could be from the romantic feelings still lingering in me from last time I saw Suga, or that I didn't see my boss at all today, but whatever it is I'm glad it's happening. Of course if I'm going to continue this good day, I have to go to KurooKat and tell Kuroo all about last week.
His restaurant is closed. The day we said we'd meet up and have the finalization of continuing the plan is the day his restaurant is closed. That's fine I'll just see him later on at the bar and I'll explain everything there. Although I'm hungry right now so I'll just have to make something at home.
I was suppose to go grocery shopping yesterday, which means there currently isn't any good food at my apartment that I'd like to eat. I have to get up and go shopping before I can eat anything.
Thank god the fucking grocery store wasn't closed because I would've been more pissed than I already am. Only to find out I walked all the way to the damn grocery store without my list of things to buy. Which is okay, I'll buy what I feel like eating right now and go grocery shopping another time.
Now after my meal and checking off the things I bought from the store, I'm sure this day couldn't get any worse. But when I walked up to Crows, the fucking place was going to be closed for another goddamn hour. What the fuck. I thought today could be a good day but no, tragic events keep popping up one after another. I just want to punch something, I want to slam my hand against the door, I want to-
"Whoa, Daichi. You alright there? You nearly punched me in the face," Asahi opens up the door and says.
"Oh sorry about that. Wait, aren't you guys closed right now?"
"Yeah but I'm kind of a workaholic. Come in, and relax for a moment. You seem overwhelmed," he says as I walk in.
"Thanks man, I really appreciate it."
"Not a problem. So what's got you huffing and puffing around the city?"
"Everything was good today at work, which is rare, so I thought today would turn out to be a good day but things aren't really going my way. Like Kuroo and I were going to talk today but his restaurant is closed, which left me hungry so I went home just to find nothing to eat, so I go to the grocery store and I fucking forget the list of things I needed so I bought whatever I wanted, cooked it and ate it, came here an hour earlier than the time your bar opens but thank god you were here."
"Yeah, thank god I was here. You were nearly about to punch a glass door. Oh, and I decided to just have the bar closed for today."
"Why?, if you don't mind me asking."
"It's fine. I think Suga is feeling overworked right now. You're probably wondering why I would close the bar for Suga's situation. Well, he's only taking today off, he said he'd be here tomorrow. If I left the bar open today, people would expect him to be here tonight and be disappointed, then probably never come back and I'll get so much hate for it and no one will come back to this bar and I'd have to find a new job and oh no I can't do that -"
"Your worrying is getting you off topic."
"Oh, sorry. Anyways, I know it's selfish to have Suga be the bait for my customers but he knows I'm not using him. He really does enjoy performing here and I'm always welcoming him back whenever he comes around."
"Wait I'm a little bit confused. This city loves him so much but people want to say he's not famous when he even has fangirls. Maybe not a whole football field of them, but they still exist. And what's the situation with him not having a full time job of performing here?"
"He's a busy guy. He's in the process of getting his recognition and I'd say he's doing a nice job of slowly getting there. Besides Crows, he sings at other places too, all day and other times all night."
"Wow, so he's just constantly working huh?"
"Yeah that's how it is to be a singer as good as he is."
"Hey hey hey!!!," Bokuto walks into the bar.
"Oh Daichi's here!," Kuroo acknowledges me.
"Yeah, where were you dude? Your restaurant is closed right now."
"I'd think I'd know if my fucking restaurant was closed or not," he says as that dark aura comes back again.
"Hahaha! It's seems my buddies are both having some bad days," Bokuto says trying to step between us but instead nervously stands there and watches us pout.
"Okay enough you two. Kuroo, tell us why your restaurant is currently closed," Asahi says to calm us down.
"There's a problem with the pipes underground in the kitchen. I just opened up that place and they're talking about reconstruction when we fucking constructed the goddamn building already. It sounds like a shitty thing to deal with so I'm mad about it. That's enough talking for me. Give me updates on the situation, lover boy."
"Who's lover boy?," Asahi and Bokuto ask.
"That'd be the newbie."
"Ooooh who is the lucky one, Daichi? When did you meet her? Is she cute? Blonde or brunette? Is she our age?," Bokuto rambles.
"Bro shut up, he can't explain anything with your loud ass talking."
"It's fine. But um it's not a she. It's Suga," Asahi and Bokuto immediately gasp after I admit it.
"What, since when? Like you have to go into full detail," Asahi springs onto me. I tell them everything I basically told Kuroo and also the part about his and I's plan we made last week.
"Ok and what's your answer now? Is it a yes? Bro I bet you it's a yes," Bokuto excitedly guesses.
"Dude let him tell the story first then we'll find out in the end. You guys talked already, right?"
"Yeah, we ran back to my house and we were sitting on the couch drinking water. I laughed and said how it feels like we're teenagers sneaking out."
"Ugh this is already cringey," Kuroo feels the need to say.
"It kind of is," Asahi agrees.
"Moving on, he laughed and agreed. Then we started talking about how old we felt even though we're only late twenties. I even made a joke and he laughed. The joke was -"
"Daichi, you're killing me here."
"Alright, alright, sorry. He scouted closer to me so our legs touched and the conversation ended at such bad timing. He was getting a little intimate and talking seductively till his bodyguard showed up. Before he left, he slowly stroked my arm, took my hand, kissed it, and told me he'd see me again."
"Bro he's for sure into you," says Kuroo.
"Definitely," Asahi joins.
"But are you for sure into him though?," Bokuto says, raising an eyebrow and smirking. "Are you?"
"I think it's safe to say it's a yes. I'm down to take things further with Suga. Hold up, what about seeing him again? Is that still a thing or should I wait till sometime later in the week?"
"Give it some time. I'll let him know you're doing fine in our company right now," Asahi answers.
The rest of the night we stayed in the closed bar getting drunk together and enjoying a carefree night we all deserved. Ever since my lifestyle changed with the whole love life thing going on, I haven't had a night to get drunk. It felt good to drink, especially now that it was with friends. Cheers to a good night and hopefully a good love life as well.
