Hello Lovelyz! Thank you so much for reading this shit. I'm sorry I do short chapters but that's just how I write and I literally sit for like two hours to produce like a six minute read. I realized this yesterday and was like "well, shit" and my roommate was just like "Ahhhh, so much effort lol! When you try your best and don't succeed!" but really, a lot of the time I wish I would put more effort into what I write. That's why, anybody who is reading this, YOU ARE A GEM. A GEM! Seriously, you guys are like godsents and I love each and everyone of you! OH GOD, I got so distracted while I was writing this, I'm so sorry... Also, I'm using a lot of terms that may not commonly be known so I'm putting a guide at the bottom and any word with an asterisk will be in it. Now, Please enjoy the next chapter!

Red, Blue, Green, the rainbow really.

Lance watched in amazement as, at the crack of a whip, the space in front of him exploded with sound, movement and color. Jugglers dressed in suave white and blue body suits rolled around in front of the crowd balancing on top of only a ball. A glow seemed to emanate from the blue parts of their outfits, creating streaking color whenever they moved. The assortment of items they juggled was amazing. Rings, bowling pins, balls, a daring few even juggled swords.

Clowns, yes clowns with colorful face paint and crazy hair, walked around deftly wrapping balloon animals for the kids and handing out flowers. Some people in bedazzled poet shirts* moved around brandishing trays of cotton candy, soda, and popcorn while other ones in bright green tailcoats showed off trays with boxes of anole lizards* and insects lining them.

After cracking her whip for a second time, the Ring Mistress jumped down off the platform, landing in a crouch on the ground just as the music paused. As if on cue, she whipped her head up to give a devilish smile to look at the crowd. As she did, all the lighting in the back swiftly focused a mass of reds, yellows, and oranges on the platform.

"Are you ready!" Lance seriously couldn't figure out how she projected her voice so much, but he was sure that every single person in that square could hear loud and clear. "For the Greatest Show in The Galaxy!?!?"

Just as she finished,  The silence was broken abruptly with the slow, primal pounding of Taiko drums*. The pounding seemed to resonate with the crowd and incite cheering. The pounding seemed to pick up gradually until it through the crowd into chaos with anticipation. Finally all at once the stage was filled with red heat.

"I give to you, Hunk, the fire breather!" The Ring Mistress shouted in excitement, elongating the last syllable.

Lance almost died from the awesomeness of the situation. It was fire, swirling in all directions. He watched as a brute of a guy walked out, tan skin and dark hair hinting to origins in the pacific. Ti leaves* adorned a yellow Pa'u* skirt artfully decorated with dark traditional patterns. His wrists and ankles were wrapped in more Ti leaves, a bright yellow headband covered his forehead.

Lance watched as the man skillfully handled two fire batons, one in each palm, twirling them to the beat of the music. He stomped one foot onto the ground to stand in profile, his legs spread into a "V" shape. "HOOOOOOO-AH!" Chanting had started to blend in with the beating of the drums. The crowd watched in shock and awe as the dancer brought the end of one of his batons to his mouth before eating the fire and momentarily blowing bursts of flame from his lips.

The crowd, along with Lance, broke out into wild cacophony. It swayed back in forth, cheering erupting from every corner of the square. They barely had time to process the feat before two giant tigers prowled to the front of the stage on either side of the man. The performer slid to the side hopping down off the platform and moving towards the crowd, intermingling with the other performers already making their way along the front line.
