I didn't leave the bathroom until the bell that signalled first lesson ending went off. I had a free period now, and obviously that meant that Cameron was going to be there too. Also meaning that I wasn't leaving this bathroom.
I mean, it's not like I had a bunch of homework to do, right? It's not like I could use this free period to do some, right? I had to avoid him at all costs, and I wasn't about to put my packs lives at risk by going in the same room as my mate to do some crappy English homework.
But at the same time it didn't seem like he was going to use me. And heck did he prove it. I'm sort of glad that my first kiss was as awesome as that was, and at least it was with the guy I was supposed to be with for the rest of my life.
It's just, I can't come to my senses with this whole situation. If my parents (or Jace) find out, I'm going to get killed. They can't find out, and I can't see Cameron.
I also really needed to do my English SA.
Weighing out my options, I eventually decided that I would go to the library and if I saw Cameron, I'd sit on the other side of the room to him.
I stood up and composed myself, pulling my skinny jeans up and my shirt down, before taking a deep breath.
"Shit."
"Forgot your bag?" Someone from outside the toilet cubicle asked, and my face turned pale.
Opening the door, I internally groaned when I saw who was standing outside of the cubicle I was in. Cameron stood in front of me, my bag and files in his arms, a smile on his face.
"Thank you." I said, taking them off of him and hugging my files.
"Why did you run off like that?" Cameron asked after seconds of silence. "I'm not a bad kisser, am I?"
"No, of course not!" I defended, a blush creeping up on my cheeks. "It's just, we can't be together, Cameron. As much as I'd love too, family has to come before teenage flings-"
"Teenage flings?" He retorted, a scowl forming on his eyebrows. "Sam, we're mates. We're destined to be together. I'm the only one who can make you feel whole. I'm your only chance at love. And you're rejecting me for your family? Mates come before family. Who cares about our parents? It's you and me, okay? I'm not going to let my parents hurt you. Please, just let me get to know you."
"Okay." Was my stupid reply.
Cameron looked stunned, "Really?"
"Really." I agreed. "But just you and me? No parents getting involved. You don't tell yours, I don't tell mine?"
"Deal." He said, smiling and holding his hand out.
I shook his hand, smiling a little as well.
"Now, can we please get to the library, I really need to start my English SA. Oh, and so do you."
"I do." I nodded, walking out of the cubicle. His hand wrapped around mine, and I immediately pulled away. "Jace will see us."
"Jace is in Chemistry." He commented.
"Oh, yeah." I took his hand. "Let's go then."

"I bet he's going to jump up on me like he did last time." I commented, hiding my face a little as Cameron pulled his chair closer to mine.
"Shut up, he isn't going to see us. Stop being so paranoid."
