"Oh my god, Sam, you look amazing!" Another one of my college friends told me as I greeted them with a friendly hug. The room was packed full of people from our pack and from other packs that we were in business with, and I smiled as I looked around to see my friends dancing together on the floor.

Aka Olivia and Jace, of course.

Olivia had arrived straight after the first few crowds started to pile in, and it was easy to say that she looked stunning. Her light pink dress fitted her figure pefectly, as well as her choice of accessories and shoes. She almost looked better than me.

"Darling, where's Cameron?" My mum asked as she handed me a drink.

"I have no idea." I said, frowning. "It's almost half past six - he should be here by now."

"I'm sure he'll be here soon." She rubbed my arm soothingly. "But for now, why don't you go and have fun with your friends? Look, they're waving you over. Go on!"

I laughed, watching my friends crazily motion me over before saying goodbye to my mum and walking towards them.

"Hey!" Jace greeted me, smiling. "Having a good night?"

"Not yet!" I shouted back, taking a gulp of my drink.

"Well, after spending an hour with us I'm sure it'll turn out to be the best night of your life!" Olivia said, nodding rapidly.

"Is she drunk?" I asked Jace.

He nodded. "Yep."

"Already?"

"I love this song!" She screamed, swaying her hips.

"Oh wow." I smirked at Jace. "I'm gonna go... get another drink. Have fun."

Jace winked, wrapping his arm around Olivia's waist and pulling her in to dance.

"I'm going to be sick." I muttered, turning around to head over to the drinks table. After one step I came to a halt when I saw Cameron standing a few feet away, his hands in the pocket of his suit jacket. His hair was messily styled, to give him the classy/casual look. The goofy smile on his face caused me to blush as I looked at myself, wondering whether or not I looked good enough for him.

He took a couple of steps forward to close the space between us, his hand entwining with mine as he said, "You look beautiful."

"Thank you." I croaked out, smiling.

"Your mum did a great job with the room." Cameron said, looking around. "It's perfect."

"Everyone has such high expectations of the night."

"Well I'm sure they'll go home happy tonight." He smiled. "Don't get stressed over this, Sam. Everything's under control."

"You're right." I looked at him. "Thank you."

"Now why don't we go and get your pretty little face a drink?"

I blushed, "That'd be nice."

"Come on."

Two hours into the party and I was already tired. Constant dancing, drinking, and making sure everyone was okay was a lot of work for a teenage girl. My mum told me we'd be lighting the birthday cake soon - totally cliche, I know.
