💜Chapter 8: Inside He's A Big Fluffy Unicorn

Reed's P.O.V

I search for my Chemistry and Language books, but I honestly cannot find it. My locker is literally a mess.

I finally find my books and as I reach out for them the locker door instantly slams shut. Luckily, I managed to grab my books and remove my hand from inside the locker, avoiding an accident I don't want to happen.

"I told you to stay away from him."

Not this again.

I look at Celine and say, "What are you talking about?"

She stares me down, "don't play dumb, you slut." I fake pout and say, "Aw, but I was only copying you!"

She pushes me hard, causing my back to hit the door of my locker. Shit, "Now listen here bitch, I told you to stay away from Seth. I warned you and you didn't listen and because of that I am going to make your life a living hell."

"Is that supposed to be a threat, 'cause if it is, I hate to break it to you but you might want to practice in front of the mirror a little more." She steps back in shock, behind her I see her minions-- I mean-- friends stare at me in shock as well. "Oh honey, don't tell me you already forgot? I came from hell remember?"

"Hey, babe, whatcha doing?" I feel a strong and muscular arm wrap around my waist. "Oh nothing," I say, "I'm just wondering why I smell trash." I turn around to face Seth and kiss his cheek. His eyes widen in shock but he quickly goes back to his egotistical self.

And with that I walked away, left all the drama behind, and headed to Chemistry.

I arrive at Chemistry and sit next to Nikki with a big fat smile on my face - not. She looks at me and asks, "Bad morning?"

"You have no idea." I sigh.

There wasn't much drama for the rest of the day, just the normal boring classes. But because of Celine I think my ribs have been fractured again. During lunch Seth didn't sit with us (thank god). Charlie ate lunch with us, he acted as if nothing happened and Nikki remains clueless as ever.

Earlier today I realized, I never went to detention that day. On the first day of school, I mean, I guess I was too distracted with everything that happened that day I completely forgot about it. But apparently Mrs. Rodriguez hasn't, and because of that I have detention for the whole week. Since my last period just ended I have to go to detention now.

I open the door to the detention room but instead of walking in like a normal person would, I accidentally step on one of my shoe laces causing me to fall. I try to stand up by using a chair to pull myself up but then the chair fell due to my heavy weight. It cannot get any worse.

I hear a chorus of laughter and are you okay's. I look up and I see Seth with a bunch of guys sitting in the far corner of the room.

I stand corrected. It just got worse. I quickly get up.

"Hey it's Seth's new girlfriend!" I recognize that guy, he has brown curly hair and chocolate brown eyes. I think his name is Julian. "Oh yeah you're right! Hey shorty why don't you come sit with us." Said a guy with light blue eyes and dirty blond hair, I think his name is Thomas. "Why don't you tell us the story of how the two of you came up with this arrangement," said Jake.
