There's something about Friday's that I just love. Not even because it's the day before the weekend, it's just an exciting day.

The game is tonight. I bet it will be hard on Veronica, having to cheer on the boy who cheated on her, on both of us.

Thankfully, I'll have jughead to distract me. He agreed to come with me, as long as he can come over after. Typical boys.

The week has gone by so quick, it feels like just yesterday Veronica and I were on the mountain. We've decided that was our new spot. Everything we talk about on the mountain stays on the mountain. It's a place where we can be vulnerable with each other.

I'm in the hallway at school as I notice Cheryl approaching me. I mentally prepare myself for judgmental tone and smart comments.

"I need you to do me a favor. I've assigned each of the girls one of the football player's new uniforms. I need each of you to deliver the uniform's to them right after school." She announced.

"Um okay?"

She rolled her eyes handing me a uniform.

"Here's Archie's uniform" she grinned evilly.

This bitch...

"Seriously, Cheryl ? You could've assigned Archie's uniform to ANY other girl on the squad" I scoffed.

"Okay, in that case Veronica can deliver Archie's uniform to him"

I sighed.

"Fine I'll do it."

Obviously, I didn't want Veronica to have to face Archie. Therefore, I took one for the team.

"If you don't, you won't be able to cheer tonight. See ya later girl." She flipped her hair before waltzing away.

What is her deal lately, she's usually not this bitchy. The bell rings, and I exit the school, making my way to Archie's.

I walk up to his doorstep, and the memories start flooding back. We used to do everything together, as best friends and next as lovers. Then he broke my heart, twice.

I shake the thoughts away, and ring his doorbell.

He opens the door, and has a very shocked expression on his face.

"Betty?" He said, surprised.

"Don't get too excited. I'm just dropping off your new uniform." I said handing it to him.

"Oh, thanks" he took the uniform, stroking my hand as he took it away.

"Archie don't." I warned him.

"I miss you, Betty. Things aren't the same without you. Could you stay for a few minutes?" He asked.

I stepped really close to him so that our faces we're just inches apart. and whispered

"For what? So we could have a quickie? Relive the past? You're pathetic" I scoffed.

"I'm pathetic?" He asked, taking a step closer to me.

I nod with some attitude.

He chuckled. "That's rich. If I remember correctly, you came running back to me after I cheated on you, with my music teacher. The only pathetic one here is you, B"

"I don't know what I ever saw in you" I shrugged.

"Right back at you. Your sister would be disappointed in you." He laughed.
