Part 23 - The Party

The music was blaring and lights were flashing. Somehow I found myself in a closet with Archie Andrews, skin to skin. Our body heat causing the air to be warm and thick. My breath was caught in my throat. I couldn't speak, I couldn't breathe, all I could think about was getting out of this situation.

I changed into my expensive, lacy lingerie. I wanted to take a step forward with Betty tonight, after the party.

Atop my undergarments I put on a short, red body-con dress, a necklace Betty had purchased for me a little while back, and some black booties.

I sprayed on my favorite Chanel perfume, and fixed up my makeup. I let my hair down, and straightened it.

Betty found a venue to host the party at, which I'm so grateful for. I did not want it to take place at my home, it'd be a bit crazy.

I grabbed my clutch and made my way downstairs. Betty is picking me up very soon.

I take a sip of my half-drunken cosmo and take a seat on the sofa. I hope tonight will be amazing. I'm excited of course, but also a little bit anxious as well. I just want everyone to have a great time.

I hear my phone ring expecting it to be Betty, but I see the caller ID says Archie.

I pick up the phone.

"Archie, what's up?" I ask slightly confused.

"I was wondering if I'm able to come to your party tonight?" He asks me.

"Only if you promise not cause trouble, I mean it." I responded.

"No trouble, I promise" he said eagerly.

"Alright, in that case I'll see you soon."

"Bye, Ronnie" He said hanging up.

Shortly after that phone call I got a message from Betty notifying me she was here.

I made my way outside, then hopped inside her car. She kissed me on my cheek.

"How's the birthday girl doin'?" She asked cheerfully.

"Perfect, especially now that I'm with you" I chuckled. She giggled in return.

"You ready for tonight?"

I nodded "Thank you again for planning everything. It really takes a lot of the stress away" I thanked her.

"Of course, it was kinda fun" she shrugged happily.

We then made our way to the venue. It was a nice place, not too close to other buildings, and very big. Basically a mansion.

"Betty this place looks amazing" I squealed.

"Wait until you see the inside" she winked.

We walked up to the front porch and opened the door. I was instantly surrounded by beautiful interior. The place was amazing, I wish I could stay here forever.

"Wow" I said in awe.

"I'm glad you like it" Betty grinned.

"I LOVE it" I corrected her.

"People should start showing up in about an hour" Betty informed me. I nodded, then decided to take a stroll around the place. There were so many rooms, and a tall, binding, staircase.
